Looking at the draw, it appears the top seeds all have great chances to make the semis.

-Bartoli-her only possible tough opponents in the way of a semi run would be Domachowska (rd16), and then K.Bondarenko, Lisicki or Govortsova (quarters). If Bartoli doesn't make the semis...

-Vaidisova-her section is a little trickier, as it features Kvitova as a possible rd.16 opponent, then either Mirza, Amanmuradova, or Erakovic as quarterfinal opponent. Anyway, if Nicole can't win her 1st rd match over the winner of Sequera/Ruano Pascual, then :help::help::help:

-obviously, as Amanmuradova is in the draw, we can put to rest that dumb thread about her leaving the WTA for the WNBA :o:o

-the most open section is the Krajicek/Bammer section. Will Krajicek finally win a match on her beloved grass? She should, as she'll face either Olaru or a qualifier. Dellacqua could come through to the semis IMO.

-Safina/A. Bondarenko is a tough section, as it features capable grass players Dechy, Bremond and Baltacha. Can Safina get it together after an impressive slam result but disappointing final loss? Hard to say.

It's too bad Golovin and Sharapova won't be here, but the event should still be fun.

unfortunately I don't see her in the draw either. Here it is:

Yeah thats what made me question it

Because it has been announced Golovin has withdrawn but no news on Azarenka, all my faves are pulling out

Krajicek vs. Olaru? I still think Olaru will win 7-6(4) 5-7 6-4 or something.
