When Maria won Wimbledon at the age of 17 nearly 4 years ago, she entered the top 10 for the first time.* Now in 2008, Maria has been in the top 10 every week and has spent most of the time in the top 5, this beats any other player as she has been in the top 10 the longest and Maria 1st reached the top spot in August 2005.* Even now, Maria at 21, is the 2nd youngest player in the top 10.

Venus will be a leader. Around 285-290 consecutive weeks between Miami-1998 and YEC-2003.

Where's Lindsay? she is still an active player.
I'm sure she has most consecutive weeks in top 10 and even cumulative.
She is basically in top 10 in most of her 15+ years career.

It's not the first time you don't bother to read the thread's title closely :tape:
Had you done it you would have noticed the words "who in the top ten NOW..."

Anyway you look at the thread title, the answer is Venus.

Venus has been in the Top 10 longer than anyone else in the Top 10, non consecutively.
If you are looking at it consecutively, Venus was in the Top 10 during 1998 until 2003, longer than Maria's current period from July 2004 until June 2008.
