Although I still went wit Jelena in three, I think people are underestimating Carla. I saw her for the first time in FC amd I've been very impressed by her and shes picked up some nice scalps.

I did see her a little bit and she seems quite confident out there, with nothing to lose. She's also an unknown quantity to the top players. Amazing run for her, given her inexperience.

I don't think Carla will let nerves get to her. She's very calm on court. People are underestimating Suarez Navarro. She could provide a challenge to Jankovic. I don't know if she'll be able to win a set, but she should be able to keep it tight.

Carla in 2 if Jelena is sick, injured or whatever.

I think Carla will crack under pressure, she is bound to at some point and I think this is it. Jelena being a great retriever doesn't help Carla, she'll have to more aggressive to finish off points, and this is where the errors will creep in and finish her off.

Jelena should take this one-but it might take her a set to get used to Carla's game. Jankovic survived a close set in both of her matches against Cibulkova and Radwanska, and I think we'll see the same thing here. This will be Jankovic's 3rd counterpunching opponent in a row, and unless Jankovic is seriously hurting or not with the program, she should come out on top again.

Suarez Navarro coaxed errors out of Mauresmo and Pennetta, but can she do it for a whole match against Jankovic? I don't think so, though Jelena could be in for another scare/close call.

I think Jelena will win something like 6-1 7-5 because I think, contrary to what many of you think, Carla will come out quite nervous. Once she settles down she will show us what she is capable of and raise her game.

Carla has been losing lesser games as the tournament progresses!
