Kuznetsova vs Petrova
Good to see Nadia actually win a couple of matches, but that's likely to end here unless she really is back at her best, which is doubtful. Kuznetsova should come through without too much concern.

Sharapova vs Knapp
Sharapova will probably come through in 2 if she plays half-decent, or 3 if she doesn't. I don't think Knapp has what it takes to fight past her though.

Schiavone vs Azarenka
I dare say Azarenka will hit through the athletic wiles of Francesca.

Govortsova vs Dementieva
4th round for Elena should be the fairly straightforward outcome.

Zheng vs Safina
Will be interesting to see if Safina can keep up this quiet, ruthless progress. She should do.

Jankovic vs Cibulkova TF
JJ should wrap it up in a couple of games.

Szavay vs Kvitova
You'd say Szavay but she is capable of some atrocious matches. Kvitova impress at the Paris indoors in February and could do well if Agnes plays like crap.

Zvonareva vs Wozniak
Wozniak's successes should really end here though at the hands of Weepy Vera, who doesn't seem to weep quite so much anymore.

Medina Garrigues vs Kanepi
Honestly, who cares? Favour the Spaniard perhaps.
