Ok, but Tati has never played doubles with Richard in OWTT tour, that's some different Tati, so I don't know what you're talking about:p
Youngster Alize Cornet backed up her Wimbledon shock, losing to Tatiana Golovin after leading 6-0 5-0 40-0, by loosing to the young Danish star Caroline Wozniaki after serving for the 1st set at 5-4 and leading 4-3 in the second.
"It's tough it really is, I feel my brain is letting me down. I had the talent to win that match but I couldn't pull it through. My strategy and everything was fine, but in the end her heavy ground strokes really took it's toll and I couldn't manage to drag the match to a 3rd set. To solve the problem of my mental fragility I have bought Dr Kawashima's Brain Training and Mystic Meg's Psychic Training, which I will work into my daily regime. The mind is the last muscle I thought to train, but I realise now how important it is. I hope to be the Matilda of the tour by my next competition."
However it was not all bad for the French, their captain was in superb form to win her rubber 6-1 6-0 and Cornet and Golovin showed really gallic heart to pull a surprising win from their doubles match, 4-6 7-6(2) 7-5.
"Natalie is a wonderful captian and was really kind to allow me to play for my country despite the fact I am new. I am sorry I couldn't repay her with a win for her kindness. She is an inspiriation to the whole team. I really enjoyed my doubles match, Tati and I did not make a good team at 1st as we didn't communicate and she kept taking my shots. This unfortunately lead me to 'accidentaly' hit her in the back of the head when I served, but it seemed to fire her up and I fed off of her energy and we pulled back the match. I neglected to tell her about the large egg-like bump forming on the back of her head"
