If anyone wants to know who wants to be the American Anna, it's not Ashley Harkleroad! She's not even close in the looks or Anna look-alike department. She looks average to me but it's....

Yvette M Hyndman (USA) at age 13! Like Ashley, Yvette's favorite player is Anna Kournikova. No surprise. I definitely don't like her attitiude at all. All she wants is to be a pro which means she wants $$$$$? Her coach is Nick Bollettieri at <br />Bollettieri Tennis Academy. If you want to see what she looks like, you can find in the Florida section of junior tennis website. What do you think?

her older sister Kelley also likes Anna.

I know Kelley is quite decent.

Sharky needs glasses! Sharky, Ashley average looking? Try beautiful! Better yet, check out the fabulous photo of Ashley in the September 2001 issue of Tennis magazine. Now, tell me she is average looking. I didn't think so! Besides being quite attractive, Ashley is a very good junior tennis player. She also has a very good service motion. I hope she can take her game to the next level. As for who is the next Anna? Does it matter? It's just a way for some kids to get some attention.

P.S. - Sharky, Ashley Harkleroad versus Maria Sharapova. Who do you think wins, and why? I think it's a toss up. Maria has progressed so quickly in the 18u. Thus, I think she could give Ashley all she wants. A couple of months ago, I was certain Ashley would wear down Maria with her superior strength and stamina. Now i'm noy so sure. I only wish they both were playing the Eddie Herr tournament. I'm sure we can agree on that!

Udachi Alisa! NejedlyKanepi, Maria Sharapova would trounce the 14u field. So would Tatiana. Olga, to be fair, would probably have a harder time with the 14u field. But she could win the 14u title. But why does it matter? They are in the 18u field. Do you think Olga should be playing the 16u?
