venus and jankovic

just following the scoreboard, i can tell that venus does not deserve to win the opening set, she has been up a break 5 times, served for the set at 5-4 and has had 5 breakpoints at 5-5.

it must be a comedy of either great tennis or a slew of errors.It is clear why someone like janokovic would bother venus so much as she does not go away.She gets back a ton of balls and fights for every point.

Cleraly Venus at her consisitent best kills jankovic, but with errors you always tend to lean towards jankovic as she can play like this all week.

Hope venu sgets through this one as she needs some big wins prior to the french.Jankovic is tough on caly, great mover and very very consistent.This game at 5-5 has been going on for ages

jelena is a top player so of course she is going to fight.they both deserve to win.that is what they are out there to do.venus is just coming back there is rust.no one gives her credit.jelena is a good test for venus to see where she is at.hopefully venus will wrap this out.there are nerves and anxious moments.so dont be overly critical of these players.this is there job and they both want to win period.

Match looks to be a good one actually, close and tense. Haters.
