Congrats Fieke (and James)! Totally deserved!!

What a bad leg for me, but a good Fedcup result at last :) And still in in the side events. Phew!

Thank you! :D We'll be around the East Coast: NYC, Boston, the Lake George area, possibly Philadelphia and Newport.

We are defending soooo many points next leg. :( I just hope we are not going to drop too far. ;) I think there are several teams that can take over #1 ranking next leg. Doc can confirm that, of course. He got all the numbers. ;)

Sounds like a great trip. I just got back from East coast. Too bad you are not making it out to Seattle or I could buy you a drink or something. Have loads of fun!! :D

Hmm, it is clear the doubles title was mostly Fieke's effort. :tape:

Congrats to her for her fine efforts. :yeah:

Fieke was this leg's best player, but that's not enough to win in doubles without a good partner. :yeah:

Truth is, she would have lost if she had played with 20 out of the 38 Tennis Poker players. ;)

You have given up chocolate?!?! So how am I supposed to pay for my room now? ;) I guess I just have to give all that chocolate to someone else.
Oh I'd forgotten about the deal for your room ! I'll have to think of something else I want from you that you might be willing to give me.
Just because your number one ranking in doubles was a fluke doesn't mean our doubles results are fluke. Unlike you, we belong on the top!! :p Well, maybe not after this leg any longer. ;)
You're not at the top until you've beaten the best ! Ask world 'number one' Ceze how that feels ...
Awwww..... It almost seems like you care
In relative terms I do care about Belgium because I don't hate it anywhere near as much as I hated losing to you !

All you have to do now is ditch James as a doubles partner and you'll be my new hero !

Oh I'd forgotten about the deal for your room ! I'll have to think of something else I want from you that you might be willing to give me.
Since we had already signed a contract for 10 chocolate bars in return for an unlimited use of my room and other facilities in your flat, I'm not sure you can go back on it now. :p But, if you make me a reasonable offer, I might consider it, of course. ;) And you still haven't shown me the pics. :( Everyone else got to see them. :(

You're not at the top until you've beaten the best ! Ask world 'number one' Ceze how that feels ...
Well, either we got to the top and stayed there without beating the best, or we beat the best, which of course means you were never among the best. :p I think you really need to get practicing, it's quite shameful how you are letting your partner down leg after leg. :p

In relative terms I do care about Belgium because I don't hate it anywhere near as much as I hated losing to you !
The Crow is great!! :hearts: You can't possibly hate him. :p I'm sure secretly you enjoyed every bit of that spanking he gave you. ;)

You snooze, you lose :p. I'll repost them in the other thread tomorrow or something. BTW 'reasonable' is a vague term.

Or you simply haven't reached the top yet ... Don't you worry about my partner and I though, we'll keep it together to thrash you when the time comes :p.

I don't hate him. I do however, hate losing to him. I'd probably hate losing to you more but that's never going to happen so I won't lose any sleep over it :D.

I couldn't help it. :( I was on vacation and wasn't checking the board every other minute. :p Well, give me few choices that fall into your definition of reasonable. And I'll see if any of them are acceptable to me. ;)

Or you simply haven't reached the top yet ... Don't you worry about my partner and I though, we'll keep it together to thrash you when the time comes :p.
Now, now, we have been on the top of the doubles rankings for 6 legs, so you shouldn't be the one to talk. :p And that trashing will never come, you know it as well as I do. :p

I don't hate him. I do however, hate losing to him. I'd probably hate losing to you more but that's never going to happen so I won't lose any sleep over it :D.
Oh, it so will happen one day. If I was you, I would be very worried, even more worried than you were playing The Crow. :p

I expect that if he didn't secretly like it he'd have let you know by now.

Who were we talking about again ?

You can't eat chocolate?! That's too bad. :( Oh well, I guess we have to replace it with something you do eat, like a dinner maybe. ;)

You'll have to come for free and dazzle me so much with your personality that I end up giving the chocolate to you in an attempt to persuade you to stay.
Ooooo, that almost sounds too good to be true. ;) But obviously it's an offer I can't refuse. :D
