Barack Obama's 20 year plus pastor will be on the Bill Moyers PBS Show
this week.

He will then be at the Press Club in Washington, D.C. to give a speech.

Both are friendly forums for him.

Bill Moyers is left of left, and PBS is as well, and his show normally
skewers conservatives, republicans, and big business (well, business of
any kind) should lap up the Rev. Wright's black theology ideas and statements.

Prediction: Somehow, Bill will make it seem as if poor Rev. Wright was
wronged by the showing of his videotaped words.

The Press Club. Well, having heard the Tim Robbin speech and the Ambassador
Wilson speech not long ago from there, it's a natual for the Rev. Again,
a pretty friendly audience and forum to attend.

I am sure Obama is happy about it too. Whatever is asked, will be minimal, and
positively spun.

But, I'm sure he'd be happier if the Rev. would just go on another prolonged vacation.

More fallacious spin, samesong.

We're voting for the candidates, not their preachers.

if you don't want to see the opposed views on the public forums, just show that you should check your psychology bearing capacity.

Predictable transcripts so far.

He is right.
They are wrong.

The best part is that Barack is a politician. He says what he has to
say as a politician.

Duh.

He's not the messiah.
He isn't any different than any other politician.
He'll say what he needs to for an audience or donor to support him.

But, the good Rev. is full of it if he thinks going to left wing friendly
locations will end this.

He's got a long avaialable list of sermons in print, on video, on cassette,
on CD's.....that will chronicle his hate filled Sunday sermons that Barack
sat thru, cheered, and agreed with for years and years.

You are who you associate with.
You are part of who you worship with.
Not once or twice or a few times.
But, year after year, decade after decade.

That's the close, close tie between Obama and Wright.

LBJ's former press secretary to the rescue once again for
a Democratic favorite. Nice work Bill.

His next special is probably something like
'see how Bush created Global Warming and the
steroid abuse in baseball at the same time!'

I guess I was trying to see where it was that Wright comes right and tells me
what it is that Obama and he disagree on.

Not much.

What is it that Wright said in 20 years, that Obama strongly disagreed with.

Not much.

The Rev. Wright has not been distorted.
He has been illuminated.

Anyway......cherry picking goes both ways. If you do it w/Republicans
you can do it with Democrats. Take out 16 words, take out one phrase,
take out one photo shot, take out one movement...and it's an entire Mikey
Moore or George Clooney or Law & Order movie or episode or a new book
by Richad Clark.

As the press bends over backwards to assist Wright and Obama, the
press is falling all over itself bashing the GOP for a private funded
ad in North Carolina that dares to show actual footage of Wright....
bash McCain for not acting as President of the GOP and RNC and North
Carolina and forcing the ads to be removed (don't worry, as president,
he'll do more to restrain free speech).......
as we get Time and Newsweek covers with more glowing Obama stories
(the young Obama and the mother who sort of dumped him off to the
racist grandparents who lovingly raised him?)......
we get 30 Rock with anti-conservative storylines with that well known
conservative Alec Baldwin doing the honors...about blacks and Republicans...
we get Medium with a story about an ex-POW lawmaker from Arizona being
a 'canibal'...wow, that's a stretch.....
Law and Order does stories about Christian young men who stone women,
see, it's just like the Muslims (who are the nice guys in the episode).

But, there's not one bit of favoritism or leanings in our mainstream media.

We're all aflutter over a Rev. whose actual words, several of them, are
somehow taken out of context - as we view them. Okay.

taken out of context

We've heard that or along those lines a lot as of late!
