I'd like very much Cara and Liezel to win, but that's clay so .... :o
So I'd go more for a surprise team like last year.
What about you? :wavey:

Kata has a new doubles partner:eek: I voted Kata and Suji:p
Anyway, I´m pretty sure they will lose in SF or QF

Ooops! :p I can't find how to change it in the poll options, so Sugi will remain Suji! :bounce: :tape:

I think the FO are maybe the most exciting Grand Slam in dubs because clay seems to be the worst surface of a lot of teams (Black/Huber, Peschke/Stubbs, Chan/Chuang,...)
So there might be outsiders just like Molik/Santangelo last year...
From top teams I think Sugi/Srebotnik are the favourites!

Has Raymond confirmed that she'll play with Stosur?
I hope the Bondarenkos win it.

Doubles is more open than singles, so any team could come along and win it (like the Bondarenkos at the Australian Open). I voted Srebotnik/Sugiyama because they are playing well right now and I think they really want a slam (they've been RU twice in slams). Plus, of all the top teams, they are probably most comfortable on clay since they have better groundstrokes.

I think Cara Black and Liezel Huber !!!
Clay isn't their preferred surface but they are beating and i'm sure they will make all for win
Others teams like Srebotnik /Sugiyama, Chan and Chuang are very good teams and may claim at the title !!

No,I can't find any team a real favorite except Ai and Kata. They've been just consistently producing great results. From all the options above,I'd pick them to most likely take a step further this time.
But I realy hope Chan/Chuang to have a good run here. :awww: Actually they were not worse than Ai/Kata at slams in 2007.(RU/QF/R16/RU for Chan/Chuang;-/RU/RU/QF for Srebotnik/Sugiyama.) They'll need that confidence going into Beijing.

just depends on the draw, those dangerous top WS players' teams like danni/lindsay and williams' sisters can bring a lot of trouble to the current top teams :fiery:

well I don't think we can say that good clay courters will do well
because Santangelo and Molik won last year and you wouldn't consider either as strong clay courters
but I would vote for Sugi and Kata

Bluber would be a nice surprise. It would be nice to see Raymond and Stosur come back strong. However, i would have to go with Sugi and Kat :bounce:.
