Time for her to get rickrolled. She should have just tanked to Perebiynis to save the frustration.

Maria is 24-1 in 2008. 6-0 on green clay.
How far is she from #2, the final?
She should be there soon, if not this week.

What better birthday presnt could Maria give herself than to win tomorrow?

Time for her to get rickrolled.
rickrolled? Never seen that before so I did Google and:

"A rickroll is a prank played on an unsuspecting web surfer. To be rickrolled is when browsing a website (especially a discussion forum or comment board), one comes across a link expecting it to lead to one thing, but finds something completely different when the link is clicked."

Would you please explain what that has to do with a tennis match.

Another good win for Maria. :clap2: The first set was obviously a tussle, but she responded well to the challenge to win the set. After that, she really took control of the rest of the match. Now we`ll have the long awaited first meeting of the year between Maria and Serena. :D I very pleased to finally see my two favorites play each other for the first time in a year.

I'm not surprised Maria won AI and is in this QF.
I'm surprised she lost as many games as she has along the way.
But that doesn't matter. Improving on clay is the goal.

Friday will show us how good Maria's clay game is at this point of time
