Not exactly vintage serving today, in fact seen better service at my local Post Office, but job got done so Lenas actual tennis must have been ok.

Well Vika, once again it falls to me to say YOU HAVE BEEN DEMENTINATED!

That's Lena's 10th win in her last 11 matches.
Since before Dubai, Lena's only loss is when she had to retire in Miami.
More ass kickings coming up.

At least it is in straight set, because Vika could have been trouble.

This is the last event, where Elena hasn't got any points to defend (because of last year's injury), so this was quite an important win :hearts:

I find it amusing people can still tell when Elena's having an off day just from a scoreboard. She was very, very, VERY off today.

Good win. Have another win tomorrow.

She was not very, very, VERY off today.

Elena was involved in a great match today in which I thought she played very well. She and Vika were trading very deep, very flat groundstrokes the entire match. Besides the four doubles faults in her first service game she played extremely well, they both did.

That match was trashhhhhhhh. Countless unforced errors from both, Azarenka just made a few more.

In particular, Elena's BH was bad. Her FH was okay.

Didn't Lena served 4 DF's in one game?:spit:

Anyway, pretty surprised to see it ended in straights although it's pretty close.;)
Congrats Lena!:)
