10000$ Toluca, Mexico

3° Copa Britania

Surface: Hard

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/28/Toluca1.jpg

Toluca (formally: Toluca de Lerdo) is the state capital of México State (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A9xico_State) in central Mexico (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico), located at 19°29′N 99°67′W (http://tools.wikimedia.de/~magnus/geo/geohack.php?params=19_29_N_99_67_W_). It is only a 45 minute drive west of Mexico City (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico_City) and 30 minutes from its fast-growing suburb, Santa Fe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Fe_%28Mexico_City%29)
The name Toluca is a hispanization of the Náhuatl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nahuatl) "Tollocan", which means "Place of the God Tollotl". Its Náhuatl symbol was in use as the municipality symbol until 1979 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1979), when its Coat of Arms was created to replace it in official documents
In 2003 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003), the city of Toluca had an estimated population of about 475,000 people, with an urban population of 1,610,000 [1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico#Major_cities) as of 2005 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005), making it the fifth most populous metropolitan area in Mexico and the largest in the State of Mexico. The climate is cool due to its altitude of 2,680 m (8,790 ft) above sea level. Despite its southerly latitude, on winter nights temperatures can drop well below 0C (32F), while summer maximum temperatures rarely exceed 27C (80F). Toluca is an important industrial center with automotive manufacturing from firms like DaimlerChrysler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DaimlerChrysler), Nissan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan), General Motors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors), BMW (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW), Mitsubishi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi) and many other companies. It is sometimes known as "Mexico's Detroit". It also has excellent educational facilities including the Instituto Tecnologico de Toluca, the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico, a campus of the Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITESM)) and others. The municipality of Metepec (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metepec) adds another 450,000 to the population and directly borders the city of Toluca.

4° Torneo Internacional "Ciutat de Torrent" (Valencia)

Surface: Clay

http://www.eltorrenti.com/img200704/tenis-01.jpg

Torrent is a city located within the metropolitan area of the city of Valencia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valencia%2C_Spain). It is the largest municipality of the Horta Sud (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horta_Sud)comarca (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comarques_of_the_Valencian_Community), with 74,616 inhabitants (2006). It is situated some 7 km (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilometre) from Valencia city proper, to which it is connected via the metro (http://www.metrovalencia.com/)
The Medieval Tower was built by the Muslims (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslims) in its origin and was part of an ancient castle. It was double-walled and had some underground passages in order to protect it.
The tower, which lays in a square, has a truncated pyramid shape and is 30 meters high, with 5 floors and a terrace where The Cross of the St. John of Jerusalem order and a Valencian "rat penat" are held on four upper corners. The access to the tower is through an exterior staircase connecting to a door at the height of the first floor. Around 1613 porches were built around the tower so the butchers, fruit sellers, etc. could have their market around the Tower. In 1847 it became the property of Torrent.
The tower has often been used as a prison throughout the history, and the porches have hosted the Courts in its upper floors since 1908 (when new ones were built). Under those porches, the Central Market was located. The porches were demolished in 1970. After its restoration the Tower houses two exhibition halls.

Naples (Italian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_language): Napoli, Neapolitan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_language): Nàpule, from Greek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_language) Νεάπολη < Νέα Πόλις Néa Pólis 'New City') Capital of the Campania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campania) region and the Province of Naples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Province_of_Naples). The city has a population of about 1 million. By one count (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Largest_European_metropolitan_areas) the metropolitan area (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_area) of Naples is one of the largest in Italy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy), with more than 4,400,000 inhabitants. The inhabitants are known as Neapolitans, napoletani or poetically partenopei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partenope) in Italian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_language) (napulitane in Neapolitan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_language)). It is located halfway between the volcano, Vesuvius (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Vesuvius) and a separate volcanic area, the Campi Flegrei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campi_Flegrei), all part of the Campanian volcanic arc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campanian_volcanic_arc).
It is rich in historical (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History), artistic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art) and cultural (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture) traditions and gastronomy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastronomy). Neapolitan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_language) ('o napulitano) is the colourful, rich dialect that has been a trademark of southern Italy ever since the period of the Kingdom of Naples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Naples) and the Two Sicilies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Sicilies). This history, coupled with its size, has given Naples the unofficial status of being the Capital of the South (in Italy).
The city is served by Naples International Airport (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naples_International_Airport) at Capodichino

10000$ Hvar, Croatia

Suncani Hvar Open

Surface: Clay

http://www.crotours.com/resort/hvar/hvar_map.jpg http://www.pearlsofdalmatia.com/images/stories/hvar.jpg

(Italian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_language) Lesina) is a Croatian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia) island in the Adriatic Sea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adriatic_Sea), located off the Dalmatian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalmatia) coast. The island's length, east to west, measures approximately 80 km.
Hvar is separated from the island of Brač (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brac) by the Hvar Channel (Hvarski kanal), from Vis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vis_%28island%29) by the Vis Channel, from Korčula (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korcula) by the Korčula Channel, from Pelješac (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peljesac) by the Neretva Channel, while the east cape of the island is located just three nautical miles away from the mainland.
The major divisions of the island include:

the town of Hvar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hvar_%28town%29) (population 4,138 in 2001), the site of the first public theatre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatre) in Europe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe), opened in 1612 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1612).
the town of Stari Grad (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stari_Grad%2C_Croatia), located on the north part of the island (population 2,817 in 2001), the site of one of the first human settlements on the Adriatic islands during the Antiquity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_antiquity) Stari Grad is the main sea port on the island; most visitors arrive here via car ferries from Split (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Split).
Jelsa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelsa%2C_Croatia) is a town in the central-northern part of the island (population 3,672 in 2001)
Sucuraj (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sucuraj) is a picturesque small town (more than 2,300 years old) on the east cape of the island Hvar in Croatia. The population of 400 people exists by tourism and fishing. Thanks to the very mild climate and beautiful countryside, many tourists come to Sucuraj. The town is the official centre of the east part of the island. Along the southern coast of the island there are several smaller islands, notably the Paklenski otoci in the west and the Šćedro island in the south.
Residents of Hvar mostly work in the fishing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishing) and tourism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourism) industries. Hvar has a very mild Mediterranean climate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediterranean_climate), beautiful beaches and Mediterranean vegetation that make it one of the most attractive tourist centers in Europe. The island promotes itself as "the sunniest spot in Europe," with 2715 hours of sunlight in an average year.
