It would be nice to see her get to the QF where most likely she would face Sharapova. Granted she has to get past Hantuchova (which is possible) and past Mirza (which should not be a problem at all - other than she is a friend of hers...and she just doesn't seem to be aggressive against friends...).

She has got to play aggressive and independent. She needs to toughen her stance against players she knows well and get back that fighting attitude she displayed so well last year at the Aust Open and in CA/FL and the US Open.

I hope so.. But it doesn't seem so so far..

I think Shahar taking two weeks off turnaments to train and work on her fitness is really a good thing.
I hope it'll be productive :)

Mainly waht she needs is to improve her serves.
Without this, she will not have any chance to climb up the success ladder.

Sad thing is it isn't even surprising.
Her once superb 3-set record is not good at all lately. Way too many losses from a set up.

Shahar lost 7 service games ( 7/15 )
She won only 62% of her first serves, and 33% of her second.
As I said before, she will not be able to win against good players whith such a serve.
If her present coaching team is not able to improve her serve, she should change it, as suggested.
