Hello Gala & Selestials :wavey:

Yes,long life to our Selestials thread :bounce: I just came home from voting ;) I will answer your email later as now lunch is almost ready.Yesterday I was at the athletics, but only in the morning session (impossible to get tickets for the afternoon one :o) but I enjoyed it much.I watch qualies of 60 m.hurdles men and women, long jump and high jump for women, pole vault for men,and some heptathlon for the men.I took photos with some of the athletes as well!!! The nicest one was Glory Alozie (the spanish hurdler),also with the german high jumper,Ariane Frierich (you maybe know who she is? I admit I didn't know her prior to this championships),with russian high jumper Ekaterina Savchenko and french pole vaulter Jérome Clavier and with spanish long jumper Concha Montaner.

Here's my photo with Ariane Friedrich, the german high jumper, very nice,I wish her good luck for this afternoon final :D

I have to go now. Please, cross your fingers and send good waves to PSOE ;)

I wish you a good sunday

hi gala :D

yes, i wish the same as you, our friendship will be a long one

i am a bit sad coz yesterday when i showed the taped Agatha Christie's tv programme "Silycord Mystery" which is one of my favourites, don't know why the disk went wrong, the scenes "mixed" together and stopped from time to time, and when i stopped it and re-started again, the dvd said the disk is "blank", but however when i put other disks to show, they are ok, so in this case, do you know if the problem lies with the disk or the dvd player :mad:

see you

Hi Miranda :D

Did you cleaned the DVD with a "dry" cloth ? Is your DVD Player playing DVD-R and DVD+R ? OR is it only playing DVD-R or DVD+R ? You know there are two kinds of DVDs....
Did you try to play the DVD on your laptop ? It could be that the DVD is damaged.Sometimes this can happen....

Our friendship will be a long one :p:kiss:

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hi Miranda :D

Don't worry about your golden collection  You have to make copies from time to time and then your collection will stay forever.

Discs are very sensitive :eek:You have to be careful with it.But when you treat them carefully then they will live more than 10 years or so....But don't forget !!!!Make copies from your copies ......

We will reach more than 100 years ;) We will be one day the oldest internet forum users

I am a little less tired today and I have some time now,but then I have to keep studying for my oral russian exam of tomorrow :help:

Hello Miranda :D
Thanks.Well I also didn't know Ariane until I saw her at these championships,I must admit but she was so nice posing with everyone wjo asked that I will cheer for her from now on ;) Gala is right about the disks, you have to be more careful with them, try to keep them safe and make copies of it from time to time ;)

Hello Gala,
Yes,PSOE won :bounce::bounce::bounce: lol even Zapatero :bounce: the other night,it was funny to see it  I'm sure you crossing fingers helped, that's why I'm asking you to cross your fingers tomorrow for my russian exam so that I don't panick and my mind becomes blank  Hotmail page is not working at the moment for me,therefore I can't answer your email.I'll try again later then.
Thanks, yeah,Ariane is a :hearts: girl,I like her red hair, but I was looking for infos about her on internet and I saw before she was bleach blonde in some photos, she looks nicer with the red hair if you ask me ;)

Hi Miranda :D

It's easy to make copies. You put the dvd into your laptop/computer and then you just put a blank DVD into your burner. If you have two burners then it's even more super easy....

You don't need a computer man.Everyone with a computer/laptop and a burner can make it for you

We don't will look like 30 when we have reached 100 years :p We will look like 20 ;)

you have much better computer knowledge than me :worship:, while i am a computer dummy :help:

i guess my laptop may be is too old (bought 6 years ago), so seems the dvid drive cannot read the dvd i recorded , coz even i put the disk which is not damaged onto the drive, it still cannot be read), so may be i will ask the brother of my old colleague who helped me to convert the old vhs to dvd to make a copy for me :tape:, you know the foolish miranda thought the dvd can last forever so that i can still watch the old monica tapes when i reach 80 :tape::lol::o

yeah, 20 years of age is better than 30 coz 30 = beginning to go downfill

i just read today that the government of The Netherlands granted approval to people to make love in at night in a famous park :tape:, wow, how open is the people from hollands :o

Hi Miranda :D

Your dvds will last forever when you always make copies :D You will watch your matches when you are an old lady in many many years ....

Your laptop is not too old but it seems you maybe have not a dvd drive but only a "cd" drive ?

I'm sure the brother of your old collegue can help you  It's totally easy to make copies ...

The Netherlands are famous for their tolerance .You can smoke marihuana there ,you can make sex in the open and in front of spectators :tape: That's Holland :p

oh i am already an old lady, and i do find time goes away very quickly, i still remember moncia as a 16 years old Yugoslovia girl who was the only one who could stop graf, but now she is 34 ..... , so i will reach 60 very soon :help::lol:

i checked my laptop yesterday, it is a DVD rom, but don't know why the agatha christie's disks cannot be read , so i think i have to pay maria's brother to help the computer dummy mimi again :o

well, making love is normal thing, just like going to toilet, but i do think they are very private things and should not be done in front of people .... sorry if i sound too aggressive, whats distinguish us and animals is that we know how to act rightly, should we also pee pee and boo boo in front of people, just like dogs? i don't think so, hollland people is too open for me ........ :help:

tomorrow is my last free day at office coz the bad sec in front will take leave from saturday till easter holdiay, she is really lucky coz the carpet company will change a new carpet for the secretaries' area during holiday and we need to clear the stuff on our desk on 20 March when she is on leave, so besides packing my thing, i have to pack hers as well :mad:

Hello Selestials :wavey:

How are you? Yesterday I was sick (fever, bad stomach, headaches),but today I feel a little better.I phoned the doctor this morning for an appointment, and only scheduled me for next monday.By then I'll be probably feeling fine  Anyway, only my head hurts a little today,my stomach is better as I changed my diet a little and only eating soft, healthy (even if not so tasty :tape:) food.

Hello Miranda,
No,I'm far from being a genius.I spend hours and hours studying it and with exercices, only to be able to speak it like a child,so I'm definitely not a genius ;) Well, about autographs and photos, you read a lot of things, not all of them true ;) I read several times here Bartoli refused people to take photos with fans and was not nice, and I had no problems with her, that's why I don't always believe what I read here. Also I understand when they don't sign autographs or pose for the photos,it's not like it's their obligation, but their choice. If they chose to do so,fine,if not, well they might have a lot of things to do or not feel ok after a defeat or tired, there are many reasons.

Hello Gala,
Thanks a lot for the positive energy and you crossing fingers, but I didn't take the exam as I was not feeling fine, instead I stayed home in bed.Yes,it was funny to see because Zapatero was asked to bounce and he bounced to celebrate his victory

I wish you a good day

i am sorry that you are sick, i wish you a speedy recovery :angel:, but why you don't visit other doctors instead since this one is only available on monday , its very rare in HK that we could only see a doctor on the day we feel sick except for specialised doctors

you are just being humble, besides russian, you also know french, german, spanish, english .....:worship::worship:

well, players are also normal people like us and have good and bad moods, i can understand that they sometimes have no mood to sign autographs, but in my opinion, it would be better that they sign the most that they can coz most people love friendly tennis players :p

Hello Gala,
I have always found bears super cute creatures :hearts: so that's a good comparison.I asked this because a lot of people feel very tired and with few energy when spring comes (including me,but not yet this year). We even have a word for that in spanish "astenia primaveral" we say ;)

Well,Wilma is a naughty dog and guess what? Now Jena and her have become very good friends (the first days they only smelled themselves from a distance),play together and love to "terrorize" the poor cats barking at them together  Poor cats though

Hello bear Gala,
Oh that's good you become a bear, bears are relaxed beings ;) I think we humans would learn a thing or two about them."The Bear" is one of my favourite movies ever,by the way :D Yes,that's right, but it's all Wilma's influence, you know Jena is usually very quiet and peaceful dog.Dicky has never cared much about cats. His main interest are persons and specially persons cuddling him, persons playing with him, persons talking lovingly to him,you get the picture I think ;)

no, i always think this snobbish friend is her lesbian partner (i guess her hubby is not working on bed), thats why she always ordered a king sized bed when she goes on holiday with snoobsih friend :tape::devil:

speaking of holidays, i am a bit angry coz my friend who accompanied me to france last year, said she would go to switzerland with me this year, but when i called her yesterday, she told me that she will go to Bahamas Islands with her other friends instead :mad:, well, its true that she did not promise that she will go 100% and i don't blame her to go to Bahamas instead as its not easy to go there and that her friend who lives in USA knows this place well and will show her around, but i do think she lacks responsibility, she should tell me instead of only informed me when i asked her, well, may be i am too old and cannot catch up with the changing world, nowadays, people are like that

Yes,I've read what you wrote to Gala about your boss.Well, still, good on her if she's her lesbian partner (a pleasurable sex life is always a good and healthy thing :p),but it's still hard for me to understand how anyone can spent such an amount of money for a birthday cake  I still think she is insane

Oh your friend who is going to Bahamas is not very nice and a little selfish, isn't she? I also think she could have told you something earlier or even asked you if you were interested in the Bahamas trip.I can understand your disappointment.I would be a little pissed too in that same situation.

Yes,dogs are super cute creatures but also very interesting.I love all kind of dogs you said :D but I agree with you,the owners must have a big house or space to keep them, otherwise you make a dog's life a little miserable. They need their space, they need their walks, they need you to play with them...but it's all good because the love they give you back is unconditional :hearts: and that's one of the sweetest things in life.I'm sure Gala agrees with me on that one ;)

Have a good day,Miranda  See you :wavey: :D

Hi friends,
long time no post from me...sorry, sorry!
I was on business travel in Milano, Bonn and downtown Stuttgart (if there is a downtown Stuttgart...hehehe!)
Lots of things to do as we are organising an international Symposium.
Had an appointment with my mum at the doctor, this time a specialist for the back problem she is having. He says that her real problem (the one that causes pain and stops her from walking more than 200 m) is not really problematic to improve by a small surgery, but she has another back problem which is not so easy to "repair". So we have to make an MRT in order to have more clarity. Just made the appointment for that.
How are you all? I hope you are fine, though I read that Vero has cramps...yes, it is hard to be a woman, but I have to say, I don't want to change...;)
I read that Monica did not perform so well as Dancing with the stars? Well, as I said, you can't compete withg somebody like Yamaguchi, so I don't understand why she is doing that. Let's hope she enjoys it.
Will try to post more during the Easter break...sorry once again for being so lazy...
Take care all of you!

Hi Miranda :D

I can understand your boss that she is maybe in love with her snobbish friend ;) but I think your boss is really absolute crazy :p Why is she giving out sooooo much money for a cake ? :p I mean when she continues to feed her toygirl with expensive cakes then one day the snobbish toygirl will explode :timebomb:  What a drama

It's really unfair that she didn't told you before that she will go to the Bahamas.Maybe she was afraid to told you ? But don't be sad  You will have a great time without her

Hi Waverella :wavey:

It's good to see you back  I'm sorry that you was so busy  Mailand ? Did you made a little fashion shopping tour there ?

I hope they will soon find the reason for your mama's back pains. Then I'm sure the doctors will cure her  Ich wünsche ihr eine baldige Genesung

That's sooooo true .It's sometimes hard to be a woman but I don't want a change too.Ich liebe es Frau zu sein :bounce::bounce:Wenn ich ein Mann wäre würde ich mich umwandeln lassen :p

I just watched the videoclip of Monica's first dance and I must say her performance was okay :worship: Okay she is a little bit stiff but I think the rest is okay. She got 15 points out of 30 .
Her pink robe was beautiful and she looked like a real lady :hearts::hearts:

hi veronika :D

i feel tired today coz i worked till 9 pm yesterday , at first i wanted to wake up at 2 am and watch my son nadal's play, but i was too sleepy that i only woke up at 5 am and missed his match :p

i hope you feel better today :angel:

the cake is only a mickey mouse small thing, the bad boss spent a lot more on the snobbish friend as travelling expenses

i guess my friend thought as i don't know her friends and that they have a total of 4 people to make a better room acccomdation, so she didn't ask me whether i will go, and whats more, the trip is not confirmed yet, well most people are selfish and i am selifish sometimes too, but i do think she should informe me her plan, and if so, even she doesn't go with me, i will feel better coz it shows a lilttle bit of respect ;)

i can only keep so many dogs in my next life, when i gonna born in a rich and big european country :p

see you

long time no see, welcome back :bounce:

i am sorry that you are so busy, but since the easter is coming, i guess you could have some rest right :angel:, i am sorry for your mum, i pray that the new technology can help her :angel:, its no fun for getting old, my mum is also complaining of the bad flu who comes and goes :help:

hello gala :D

the cake is specially design for the snobbish friend, i am too lazy to read her e mails with the cake maker, but it seems that there are lots of special design as bears, ballons etc on the cake, well, i don't think we can call the snoobish friend as toygril coz she is even more old than the old mimi, she is 44 :tape::help::lol:

no my friend is not afraid to tell me coz she has a more furious temper than me :tape::lol:, we were colleagues before and most of my old colleagues are afraid of her coz when she is in bad mood, she will explode:help:, she is just lack of responsibiltty, she was better when she was younger, may be its the pressure to support her family made her change , but after all, she is still a good person who is willing to help others when in need, so may be i could just forgive her

tomorrow begins our easter holidays, my friend invited me to do hiking but as my foot is still not fully recovered, i rejected, i may only watch movies with friends and stay at home

i guess i may not post during easter, so see you on 25 March and have a nice easter holidays :inlove::aparty::music::banana::rocker::baby:

Hello Selestials :wavey:

How are you? Here the weather changed today to low temperatures so it's not enjoyable to be in the outside anymore as in the last days :(

Hello Gala,
Thanks for your kiss and concern.Today I feel ok ;) Yes,the shortest dogs are naughtier,at least the ones I've known.I've had small-sized and big-sized dogs and the small ones are often asking for trouble  it's maybe they have inferiority complex because of their smaller size and need to make a stand. So how is Theo in that aspect?

Hello Wave :wavey:
I'm glad to read you again. No need to apologise,we all assumed you were missing from the board because you were busy.:hug:But now you'll have some free days for Easter, right? I really hope the doctors can help your mother and relieve her pain. Here's a big  for her.I'm happy to be a woman also,I wouldn't change that ;) well maybe if I was born in one of those countries where women have no rights at all,I would think otherwise...

Hello Miranda,
Sorry you can't go hiking because of the foot  but your plan for easter sounds equally good.Enjoy these off days  Well,I read what you wrote to Gala about your friend, and you are right, you should maybe forgive her.Don't worry for your son Nadal,he won.I read Amélie was watching the match in the stands, but she was cheering for Tsonga ;)

Good holidays everyone :wavey:  Take care :D

hi gala and veronika :wavey:

sorry that i am in a bad mood again as i am returning to hell = office, need to re-pack my stuff as we changed a new carpet again during easter, whats more, at first i wanted to rest at home to re-charge my batteries, now i regretted of not gonig to hiking etc with my friends, coz the bad printing company for the government still turned on their machine during easter from 9 am to 7 pm :fiery::fiery:, i think they will never stop and improve as may be they have more things to print these days, so i can do nothing but to change my windows into a more "strong" one or move to anotehr house (well its not easy to change to another house), ai, sorry, the old crying baby miranda lamented at her bad lucks again: bad bosses and coleagues at office, bad father to support livings and bad health and also bad living enviroment, i am about to explode :fiery::help:

Thanks both for your nice words and reps,I feel much better today,I don't know why I was feeling sick the other day, maybe the air of the mountains, the cold or somehing.Today I feel ok.I went back to work after 10 days,it was hard getting up so early again :help:

Hello Miranda,
I can imagine how you feel.First because your holidays were not as relaxing as you would have wanted it to be,and then going back to work is enough reason to stress anyone and make feel in bad mood.So I send you big virtual  TAke it easy

Hello Gala,
Yes,I feel better. In a while I'll go with Jena to the vet.She needs a blood analyse. You know since DIcky got sick, the vet adviced us to test the dogs at least once a year for leishmania analyse,so today she has her yearly appointment.Of course she doesn't suspect anything,I'll disguise it as a walk ;) Yes,it's very hard for the family. At the moment everytime the phone at home rings,we get on alert.Yes,I'm with you,I don't care where the forum is located as long as it keeps existing ;) so that we have a place for our nice Selestials gatherings.A free week? Hello Selestials :wavey:

How are you doing today? I'm feelingkind of lazy and tired, but it's good since I have free afternoons this week so I can relax ;)

Hello Miranda
Next time you get home late or tired or stressed, you should take a hot shower or bath, that's what I do,and I feel much better after doing so ;) you should try it.Take it easy at work

Hello Gala :D
Yes,Jena was unpleasantly surprised  the minute she steps into the vet clinic she starts shaking because she is terribly afraid and hates this place, even if the vet assistant is really the sweetest girl you can imagine, she cuddles and talks lovingly to the pets so that they feel better, but I guess Jena has too many bad memories of that place to relax even for a second.Later today I'll have her results.Crossing fingers.

Hello Miranda,
I think most big cities are overcrowded and noisy, that comes with all big cities, that's why personally I prefer to live in little village. But Valencia is overcrowded and noisy too,and what's worst, polluted because there are way too many cars.Well then a hot shower will do ;)

Hello Gala,
Haha, you can relax and be lazy but I'm supposed to study on afternoons, instead of this, guess what I do? Watching movies and L word on my computer.Jena is perfect, the analyse showed all is well in her body :bounce:

hello gala and veronika :D

sorry that i am in very bad mood again, but this time its all my fault, i just booked a ticket for the bad boss's maid since she wanted to take her annual leave and comes back to Phillippines for holidays

a few days after, the boss loves the snobbish friend so much that she told me to book and paid the tickets for her phillippino maid:rolleyes:, under normal conditions, its HK - Phillppines - HK as the maid is supposed to come back to Phillippines for holiday, but then i made a big mistake coz this maid is actually in Phiillippines now (I guess she may be is the substitute for the snoobish friend's maid who may be is also on leave), so i booked the normal HK - Phillippines - HK ticket for her and told my boss that the cost is $2,400+tax, but then at last minute i finally realised that i booked the worng ticket, the maid is now in Philippines and not HK!!! :help:, so the cost would be a lot higher, its $5,400!!!:help:, as i have no guts to tell my boss that i made mistake coz for sure she will explode, so i have nothoing to do but to pay the extra HK$3,000 myself :sad:, the monies is enough for buying 10 dress, = euro 300 (i euro to HK$10), so i have no mood to reply further

tomorrow is our public holiday, so see you on saturday

Hi Selestial friends!
I have had a look through the last mail and saw that you have missed me. Sorry that I was not often at the board. I am very busy with the organisation of our symposium, many things to think about and to do. It will be on Monday and Tuesday and then I will have a meeting (this time at Stuttgart, not abroad) an on Friday I will be in Holland. Quite busy and many things to prepare.
I hope you are doing fine. This evening when I came home I saw a few points of Sveta - Serena. Both seemed to be very tired and could not run to many balls....that is surprising, maybe less for Serena. But Sveta seems to be a bit overplayed. It's a pity she has lost, she was close to beating both sisters one after the other.
Any news about Monica, other than that her dancing career is over? :-)
What about Momo?
My mum had her MRT last week. Now we will go again to the doctor and listen what he will say about the surgery. It seems that she has many different problems with her back. Poor Mum.
So, now I feel rather tired and will go to bed. Take care, all of you.
Ah, I feel a bit sad about having to write at Blast from the Past.....buhuhu!

Hello Selestials :wavey:

How are you all doing? Weekend is finally here ;)

Hello Miranda,
Hope you enjoyed your public holiday :D Well if you work overtime,it's normal thing you feel so tired, the thing is I work the same but feel more tired than usual  Well sometimes conversation classes are the most useful to learn a language ;) and I don't think they are easy at all.At least for me conversing in russian is by far the most difficult part of the language learning. Don't worry for your next lesson, you should listen to a french movie or song or listen to french radio on internet and the french will go quickly back to you :D

Hello Wave :bounce:
So happy to read you again.Yes,we imagined you were busy but not that busy  well take it easy  Sveta and Serena were playing for almost 3 hours yesterday + it seemed really hot out there (Sveta's face looked so red  ) so if you caught some points by the end of the match,no wonder they were tired. But Serena has not played all that much tennis,I don't know why she should be so tired.About your mum, what is MRT? Sorry I'm not familiar with that term.Poor mum  Hope the doctors can find a way to ease her pain.

Hello Gala,
Today the temperatures are a little lower and again my head is hurting, but I took an ibuprofen so I should be better in a while.Well, the week was shorter for me,but still tiring :o Well,it's probably normal we are in the past part of the forum, but as I said,as long as we have this place for gathering I'm not complaining ;) lol the way you wrote it seems like Momo is happy for losing  :p I know she isn't ;) but at least she's not thinking about leaving the game and is motivated to go up :bounce:

I have to go help my mum now.See you :wavey: Enjoy your weekend Selestials

Hello Gala,

How are you today? :wavey:
No headaches today, thanks  I sure hope Momo is hapy in her private life, that's certainly more important than tennis results.

Guess what? MY mum went yesterday to the little house in the mountains with all my aunts. It was the birthday of one of my aunts so they decided to celebrate it there.Anyway, when she came back home at night she brought with her a 1-month old white kitten :hearts: There were 4 more  but my mum only brought one as we already have a lot of cats to take care of and to feed, another one of my aunts (the one that has Petra) brought 2 black ones.Well the idea is to feed them until they are able to survive by themselves, you know, until now they were sucking from the mother but as the mother just died, they have no possibilities to survive as no teeth yet.

I have to go now.I'll answer yor pm also later.Enjoy your weekend  :wavey:

Please, don't be sad  I was watching the final yesterday and honestly Davydenko played nearly perfect tennis, there's no player who would have won against him yesterday, not only Rafa, any player would have lost
Obviously the russian doesn't always play at such level, otherwise he would be n.1 and he isn't ;) Cheer up,with the arrival of clay season,Rafa will start winning again :D we all know he is the king of clay.

hi gala :D

i really admire your positive spirits :worship:, but as usual, i am not that positve as you, rafa used to be invincible in finals but now he has lost this aura

your positive character is expressed in good ways:worship::hearts:, my bad father is positive too, but in bad way:rolleyes:, my brother used to give my mum $1,000 monthly as some kind of contribution (actually a small sum, just euro100, euro $1 = HK$10), and then in these few months, in addition to this $1,000, my sister in law began to give my father $500 monthly (the $1,000 is taken by my mum which she spends on food) which we guess is because my father gives a hand on escortng her daugther from school bus to home (which actually is less than one minute of walk, this job used to be done by her phillppines maid but now this maid was fired, my father loves to bully me and my mum but is afraid of my fierce brother so he fights for this job even the sister in law said she can do it herself:rolleyes:), but this month, don't know if my brother is too busy that he forgets or he is no longer willing to give out the $1,000, no money is received for April till now, so my mum finds an excuse to scold my dad for not saving monies, but to rely on others, but the dad is optimstic enough, saying that my brother will give us the monies yesterday, but however, none is received :p, so my mum scolded him again for having no monies and never has a brain coz he always think other people as his brother/us will give him monies

i think i prefer HK's wiinter over germany's winter coz its not that cold at all but very comfortable

hi gala :D

roger is smart enough to enter a small tourney next week in Estoril, so for sure he gonna wins a title before my poor little son nadal , many bad posters in MTF are laughing at the zero title of nadal

my mum has no guts to call my fierce brother for money ;), for me, i find it embarass to ask others for monies, thats the thing i never do even when i was a kin and was poor, if i wanted to buy a pretty dress, i would get it by saving, and I never asked my poor mum or the fierece dad for monies ;) i am always more mature and wiser than my dad regarding monies, i know we must always save monies on our own and not to rely on others ;).

The dad is so so foolish, when he was the bread earner of the family, he used to treat us badly:rolleyes:, even he has monies to spare, he always spent them on himself as smoking/gambling/drinking beers, and never took us to restaurants (well, may be a few times in our whole life ;) or bought us some clothes or gave us some extra monies), now its his turn to have to rely on others for a livings, but he is so so foolish to think that we gonna give him lots of monies while he treated us so badly :cuckoo::silly:?

but he is still lucky, he has me to rent him a room and food to eat, and his brother gives him a little sum every month , but still he is ungrateful to me and scolded me:rolleyes:'

its good that you are having good weather :hearts:

i read that a german mum killed and buried her 8 babies under the garden, but how come she only got a 15 years of prison? she shuold be shut for eternity :(!

Only fools laugh :p Nobody will laugh when Rafa wins his next Roland Garros title ......
Nadal is playing at this weekend in Germany. He plays for the spanish Fed Cup team .....

That's true. It's better to save money as to ask others but in your fathers case you should really ask your brother.I mean you are all one family :D

Your father have a bad character !!!! He should be thankful that you give him money for his daily food....

That's german law . This woman gave birth to these nine children and then she killed them and bury them in the garden. She even wanted a lower sentence  15 years means in Germany nearly the same as a life long prison .Normally murders are send free after 15 years ....

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hello gala :D

thanks for your kind words on nadal, but i am afraid he won’t win any clay title, let alone RG, its not very possible that he can win FO so many times ......... even when graf at her peak, she failed to win consecutive grand slams ......:tape:

none of us dares to talk with my fierce brother, he is just like my father ..... but the useless dad is always lucky, the brother finally remember to bring us monies yesterday and this time he gave us a total of $2,000, a bit more than usual, so the kind mum gave the useless dad $640 ;). I envy of his good lucks coz never in my life did someone offer me free monies ;)

lol, my dad is cold blooded, can you imagine a person who did not and never visit his parents’ tombs? thats my father ;)

then i have to say german law is a bit too loose, some bad people deserves to spend their whole lives in prison, just 15 years the maximum? its not fair for those victims .....

i want to voice out my anger towards the so-called “suppression of the independent of Xizang event”. I am very angry about the attitude of some people who think the Chinese government is wrong in “suppressing” the Xizang people, well, if they just sit there quietly for a peaceful demonstration and the Chinese government uses military force to suppress them, then the Chinese government is doing wrong, but however the incident in Xizang is not just a peaceful demonstration, but a riot, the people burned the building, robbed the shops, attacked and killed Chinese people and police, what can the Chinese government do? just sit there and let them burn and rob??!! I have to laugh when Dalia Lama was given a Noble award for being “peaceful”? actually he is the one who wanted a “tribal separation”, saying we Chinese (Han tribal) people (actually we are all Chinese people but different tribal) should not live in Xizang as we polluted their civilization! If that being the case, then how about the thousands of Xizang people who live overseas? aren't they also polluting other countries' civilisation? Dali is a hypocrite!

we must separate sports and politics, if you are not contented with China, thats fine, just don’t watch the Olympics, but why to interrupt the transfer of the holy fire? Olympics is an event participated by the whole world, not only China!

As for the US, British and some other government, i have to laugh at their hypocrisy, no human rights in China? Please ask the US government how they treat the black people and how many innocent people they killed when they invaded Iraq?! Its laughable to see how foolish are some people, I think they should read more about the history for the independence of Xizang before they acted so unfairly

sorry for being long-winding but i just feel sad and angry, we Chinese people were being bullied a lot during the Ching Dynasty because we were too weak, now when we become more powerful, we got bullied still, this time its because we got jealousy of our improvement, how pity are we Chinese people:sad:

see you :D

Your father is bad. It's not good when he didn't visiit the graves of his parents

15 years is not the maximum.Sometimes it can be 20 years or so ..Then we have the so called "Sichersheitsverwahrung" That's when someone is very dangerous (multiple murders, sexual murders and so on ) .Then the person must stay "forever" or very very long in prison. But this sentence is very very rare ....

In Germany and in the whole world the Dalai Lama is very popular.I sometimes think he is more popular as the Pope :tape:
I only can say what I saw in the media. Here we are very sensible with this " government forces beat demonstrating people" But so is our western world .....But I can understand your view .... I totally agree with you about this "sports and politics " must be separated !!!! I can remember as child as the former Soviet Union and his friend states makes this "Los Angeles Boycott" in 1984 .The whole western world made this in 1980 for the Moscow Olympics .......This was a very very sad day for the sports world ...

Hi gala :D

the dad only thinks of himself, he never thinks about other people, he used to make bad dreams and shouted aloud when we were living together, and we all made fun of him that his dad’s ghost was visiting and torturing him as he was such a bad son:devil:

here we have life sentence, so seems our laws are more strict than yours

you know i never am a patriotic person (we used to be ruled by the British and seems far away from mainland china, so not much “love” towards China), but i want to be fair, the China government was totally wrong in surpassing the students during the 1989 Tiananmen event, and regarding human rights, it really needs to be improved (actually its a common understanding that human rights are limited under the rules of communists), however, its improving, it has to be done slowly, god also needed time to create this world right?

Have you watched the TV? Most of the Xizang people are not doing peaceful demonstration but robbed and burned the streets/shops .... i think the western media is not fair at all, may be the TV only showed the monks crying for freedom most of the time in your tv and didn't show the police being beaten by the demonstrators clips (our channel showed a young policeman who was beaten almost to death by demonstrators, they were cruel enough to cut down a big slice of fresh from his butt!) , didn’t a French or German tv broadcasted a clip on tv, claiming the demonstrators in Xizang was beaten badly, but later it was discovered that the demonstration was not in Xizang but Nepal!! :fiery:. I believe that its the Dali Lama and US government’s tricks to ruin the Olympics, its crystal clear coz if not, why the riots only took place when its near Olympics and not last year or earlier.

dalai is not a peaceful man, do you believe his hands are clean when he lead the revolution in 1959? its not possible to have a revolution without blood right .......

Xizang is part of china so of course China does not allow its independent, how about if New York wants to seek its independence, do you think Bush would allow this to happen?

if you think there is a lack of human rights in China, in the first place, you should not allowed them to run the Olympics, and now to turn away from it because they beat the demonstrators? its totally unfair and foolish:fiery:

sorry for being so angry, after all, even i am not a patriotic person, but still i am Chinese.

i guess the cake is so expensive because of the beautiful pattern and cartoons? coz all the “forever friends” icons can be eaten ;)

see you on next Monday and have a nice weekend :lol:

Hi Selestials :wavey:

I don't want to start an argument in here but I'm sorry,I completely disagree with what you have posted Miranda.I can understand and respect you think that way,but for me there are things like not respecting human rights are simply unacceptable. So I'll be back when things have calmed down a little over here ;)

Have a good weekend :wavey:

Miranda
Apr 12th, 2008, 03:24 AM
hi veronika :D

everyone has its own view, and don't worry if we have different opinion, for me, its all right to do peaceful demonstration, but not robbed, burned things and attacked the common people and police as the people in Tibet did, can you suggest what the china government to do when the demonstrators in Tibet are robbing/burning/attacking things and people? Just stand there, watch and do nothing? I think even in western countries which respect human rights more than China, the police will not just sit and do nothing right?

sorry if i have added more wood into the fire, have you heard about the Opium War, where 8 western countries invaded china and took lots of land and valuable things from china? i know these things happened more than 100 years ago, but if we want to talk about human rights, did the western countries give us chinese people any human rights during these wars and do they treat us fairly now? Do we interfere their internal affairs like they do on us?

and most important of all, we have to separate politics and sports, the human rights in china may not be up to western people's standard, but its disrespectful to grasp and stopped the holy fire, is it fair for the athelets who are given the honour to hold the fire and is it also fair for the athelets who tranined for their whole life, hoping to just shire once in their life time in this Olympics, may not be able to play due to politics? if you are not satisfied with china's attitude towards the Tibet incident, just boycott it economically or through other means, and not to spoil the Olympics, which is not only participated by China, but the whole world :wavey:

i want to stress that i do not support war or military force, human rights should be respected but not "over-abused", i am against all violent acts except for self-defence

i hope i have not offended you or anyone, i just state my mind, i may be biased as i am chinese, but i think everyone would agree that politics and sports should be separated, have a nice weekend :)

I know there are some improvments in China but there is still a lot to do.You are right when you say demonstrations must be peaceful but people should also have the right to say their minds without fear.

I know that China and the chinese people have had bad times in the past.I know about the crimes in the Opium War ,The Boxer Rebellion(Germany was involved ) and other wars.Believe me no country is without white hands ...

as i have said before, i do think the human rights in china really have to be improved, especially in the way that the citizens should be allowed to voice their opinion freely, i also agree with you that its premature to allow china to hoist the Olympics, but since the Olympics authority already know the limitation of human rights in china, but they still allowed them to hoist, they have to take their responsibility and can only do their best in helping them to hoist instead........

i find it funny to see some hypocrites as the hoist for CNN to say "all chinese people are jerks and robbers for 50 years ....", its true that some of them do not behave well, but many of them, especially those immigrated, respect the laws a lot, speaking of robbers, i wonder who invaded other countries and took their land and valuable things, its definitely not us chinese people .....

all right, lets leave these stuff behind and talk about happy things :wavey:

i still think this cake is too expensive, its not that difficult to make it right , wasn't momo got beaten at very early rounds, how come you still could watch her match , poor lindsay, always injured, i was hoping her to beat maria as revenge

see you

hi veronika :D

thank you for your understanding, i know that you are a open-minded people who can accept different opinion

i am sorry for your stomach, then better to drink water or tea instead of coffee, especially at night :smooch:

speaking of dogs, i read yesterday two completely different stories, one is ahout a St. Bernad, known to be one of the most peaceful dogs in the world, bite his master when she was about to put a "mask" onto his mouth to avoid him licking his wounds, i guess HK is too hot for this kind of dog , one is about a Tibet type of dog (don't know it in english) who ignored his life when fighting the thieves who wanted to rob his master, how touching is the story, i always think dog sometimes is better than human being ;)

see you

Hi Miranda :D

Yes the IOC (the international olympic organisation) made a mistake as they choosed Beijing for 2008.2016 would be much better ......But I think they always change from continent to continent .2000 was Sydney,2004 Athens and now they wanted to choose an asian state .....

China have maybe not the best human rights but other countries also have problems with them.No country is innocent ........Here we have many chinese immigrants who are all well respected :worship:They do their jobs (the most have restaurants) ,the pay their taxes ,they respect the laws ....

Momo reached the quarterfinal in Amelia Islands so she played on friday night .But she was too tired because she played a tough long match versus Radwanska on thursday.....But this tourney was a success for her  A quarterfinal is a success for her in these days ....

I think for a baker it's not difficult to make this cake ;)

See you :wavey:

Miranda
Apr 14th, 2008, 11:12 AM
Hello gala :D

i guess they chose Beijing because it is richer and bigger than other asian countries at the moment? :wavey:

yes, as i have said before, no country is innocent on this human rights issue, so they should not act like only chinese people is the biggest jerk in the world .......:mad:

I feel very sad that whether there is a riot, like in Indonesia, the poor chinese immigrants were the first to get attacked, shops robbed, killed, just because the local people are jealous that they are richer:sad::fiery:, but however they forgot that most of these immigrants worked very hard to achieve this, its not like they are stealing or robbing ....... although china has become more powerful, many of its people are still living a poor life, they immigrate to places that are as far as we can imagine for a living, i.e. the family of the hubby of my old secondary school mate immigrated to Venezuela!! :help: they sent him back to HK when he was about 9 so that he could learn a bit chinese and he settles down in HK since then, it takes him more than 30 hours of flight for him to visit his family members! :help:

reaching quarter final is not bad for momo, don’t worry, she will bounce back, isn’t lindsay even older than momo but still won some titles and Kimiko who is 37 is about to return to WTA? may be momo will win wimby this year!

if its not difficult to bake this cake, then the boss is foolish to pay so many monies .....:tape::lol:

see you :D:lol:

Hi Miranda :D

I also think that's the reason. Here in europe we have many countries who are rich enough to host the games but I think there are only a few asian countries (China ,Japan,Corea ...)

Germany is full with immigrants but many many germans also immigrated in the last centuries to other countries .Even today some germans move to other countries....

It's sad but it's always so  The minorities like immigrants were always the first victims of the mob :eek: I think they don't attack only chinese people ....

Yes,Kimiko will return and Lindsay is 31 or 32 ....I think Momo will soon be among the best players :worship:

Your boss sems to be not too clever :tape:

Hello Selestials :wavey:

Sorry yesterday I had a super busy day and had not time to come on board.I went to the oftalmologist. My eyes are fine :D On the other hand,my uncle is doing much worse according to my other uncle (we only get news through him at the moment as my sick uncle told my mum & aunts to please stop phoning him every day as he feels very tired, unwell and says these conversations left him feeling bad emotionally  ).

Other than that,I've been busy with work and studying (I have the final russian exam in one month and I feel that my level sucks :help: Not sure I'll pass it :( so a lot of work left to do in that aspect for me) + we are feeding and taking care of the baby cat (we call him Misha ;) ).I can't remember if I posted a photo of him here or not,so here he is,he's really tiny as you can see:

http://i019.radikal.ru/0804/72/636b0bb46889.jpg (http://www.radikal.ru/action.aspx#)

http://i017.radikal.ru/0804/04/136e1e2552e6.jpg (http://www.radikal.ru/action.aspx#)

On next thursday as we have to go with Dicky to the vet,we'll bring the little one as well as we've had a bad experience with another super tiny kitten recently (he died  ) so we want to make sure all is well with him and is at the weight and height needed.

Miranda, thanks a lot for your rep  Well,I don't think here chinese people are seen badly, quite the contrary,of all the immigrant groups I can tell you the chinese are one of the best considered here. ;) Also note that most people (at least in Europe,I'm talking here about the people complaining in Europe) have nothing against chinese people, the problems people have here it's only with chinese government and chinese pc ;) so please don't think people are attacking China as a whole,it's far from being true.

Ok,I have to go now.I wish you both (& if Wave or someone else comes to read us too of course, seems like we only 3 post in here lately ) a great day!!! Take care! :wavey:

Hello gala :D

many people immigrate to other countries to earn a living, its rather difficult for them to adapt to a new environment, we also have lots of immigrants here :wavey:

if the boss is clever, she should have known that the snobbish friend is taking advantage from her, have you seen any one who never pay her share of bill like air ticket/hotel charges? ;) not to flatter myself, i am a much better person than the snobbish friend:p, at least i did not cheat her monies, but how does she treat me? as worst as hell ;)

have you head of the milkshake killer in HK? its about a US woman who spiked her rich hubby (worked in Merrill Lynch) ’s milkshake with lots of medicines, making him unconscious and then beat his head with a decoration? she was sentenced to life prison, i read that her father had to sell his house to pay for the lawyers’ fee, actually everyone knows its her who killed her hubby cold-bloodily and not self-defense as she claimed, but she still wants a re-trail, that means her poor old father has to pay again .... does she has any piece of conscience, what not admit your guilt and let your old father has some good years to live instead of getting bankrupt!! :fiery:may justice prevail and this woman to spend her whole life in jail :fiery:

see you

don't worry, your russian exam will be a good one , wow, this kitty is very tiny, but i think he is not that thin, he looks healthy too, seems its already summar, why you put so many towels around him

yes i do agree that chinese govt has a lot of work to be done before it is being called a good one ;), but there really are some people who are against us like the hoist Jack Caffety in CNN who said all chinese products are rubbish and its people are jerks etc :wavey:

Hi friends,
thanks for remembering me, despite me being so "untrue" not to come here more often. I had a very busy week last week. Symposium, meeting and another meeting in the Netherlands. Have to tell you a story about my Dutch experience. When I arrived at the station in Eindhoven I had a map to find the hotel late at night and wanted to find the orientation at a big city map sign. I stood there and made sure I go in the right direction when a woman came up and asked me if she could help me. I said, no I'm fine, I know now where to go, but she insisted and wanted to show me the way and to accompany me as it was late in teh night and too dangerous...I was impressed that the Dutch are so polite and taking care. On the way (it was only 5 minutes) she told me that she would know the hotel well, as she has earned there 59 Euros in 15 minutes once....oups! She also told me that she didn't receive her social money for the last 2 months as the Dutch social system would be very bad....I ended with paying her 2,50 Euros for "showing me the way". She wanted to have more, saying that she is so hungry.... Hmhh...that was quite an experience.
Anyway, now I am back and this week is a busy one again. Will have to go to Munich for Thursday and Friday. Lots of work in between.
I have also been to the doctor with my mum, after her second scan. We have agreed that she will have some pain killers and physiotherapy for the next month in order to find out if that helps her to have less pain in her leg coming from the back. But the doctor thinks that this won't help, she will need the surgery. A good thing is that he thinks now it will be a minor one. The other problem with the back she 's having is not as bad as it has to be operated. That's good. Today I made the appointments with the physio. Will have to drive her as she can only walk about 100 meters.

Vero: I have seen that you have a cute little kitten? Did you find her on the street? Let's hope the doctor will say she is fine. Is she nice or wild? Good luck for the exam.

Miranda: Gala and Vero are right, there is no problem here with the Chinese people, we have a lot of Chinese students here and they "behave" very well, so nobody thinks they are difficult or anything. I think that there are other people that are regarded much more "suspicious" than the Chinese. But of course there is a lot of discussion about the Olympic games. The news inform us about Tibet and they don't do it in a very positive way for the Chinese government. Though I know that news are nowhere really fair (I lost that believe long ago), I don't think that they are more fair in China. Anyway, the real problem is the Olympic committee who think that the games are not part of politics. They should have thought about possible problems before. It is a pity that the unpolitical part, the great celebration of sports and youth is now overshadowed by these problems. Are the Chinese people looking forward to the Olympics?

Gala: How are you and how is my best dog friend Theo? Is there anything new about you I missed during the last weeks? Upgrade to become boss of the flower industry? Take care.

Hello Selestials :wavey:

Sorry I don't feel very happy today. The news we get from USA are worse and worse about my uncle. They have now taken away all the medecines he was taking until now,and now he is only on sleeping pills and liquid morphine, that means he is sleeping most of the time now.

Also to keep with the bad luck, the little kitten is sick (he has a virus) and the vet doesn't know if he will survive or not as he has few defenses on his bidy as he is way too young (not even 1 month old).

So I feel down and depressed at the moment

Miranda:sorry I don't believe in god.I don't think if he existed he would allow the unfair things that happen everyday to happen :o About the kitten:the photo is from last week, maybe he looked healthy then. The vet told us today he's smaller in size that he should be for 1 month old.We put many towels around him because the vet told us we must keep it warm so he doesn't die of hypothermia, that most kittens that die,die because of that,as being separated too young from the mother, they don't have the mother's heat, and need another kind of heat to keep them warm.Veterinary insisted this is extremely important.Well I don't think CNN is the most valuable site for information,it is an american tv,right? it has a lot of american bias, not only regarding China, but in many other matters ;) you brought Wave back :worship:

Gala: you are right, exam is not important,I don't even care about it at the moment as there are more important things and priorities at the moment.See the first part of my post about Misha  not sure he'll grow up to be strong as a lion.

Wave: lol ok,you made me smile with your dutch experience as you named it :p so big thanks ;) Let's hope the pain killers and physiotherapy work for your mum   The kittens? My mum found 5 of them near the little house in the mountains, their mother had just died a couple of days earlier according to the neighbours and my mum thought these tiny creatures would never survive without the mother as they are only drinking milk not food,so my mum took them all home,4 of them were adopted and we kept the white one as we thought he was the cutest one.But seems like we chose the unhealthy one,or maybe he has the same thing why the mother died? but the other kittens are apparently ok,no one has phoned us to tell they are sick.

I have to go now.I wish you all a good day :wavey:

hello gala :D

well, even if i want, its not easy to cheat my boss’s monies coz the only monies that i keep for her is just some patty cash, even i hate her and i am poor, but i won’t cheat her monies like the snobbish friend did, its way too shameless for me ......

I am sorry if i have bored you, but you know the crazy miranda has a passion for detective/murder stories/news:devil:, if you are interested, here is a link to let you know better this cold-blooded milkshake murderer, she has a lover so she wanted to kill her hubby so that she can get all the monies and the custody of her 3 kids, now she got nothing and her kids hate her so much that they went back to USA .......:devil:

do you know how foolish she was? after killing her hubby in her own bed-room (she also has 2 maids who lived together with her, how foolish to kill someone in a house which is full of people?), as she has not enough power to move his body, she wrapped him with an old rug and told the guards in her house to move the remains into a rented store room which is also inside her own building!! :help:The guard told the police that they already felt something wrong when moving the rug coz its extremely heavy and contained a bad smell! :help:

She also was foolish enough to give the same milkshake to her neighbour to drink on the day her hubby was killed (the neighbour testified in court later that he fell into amnesia after he drunk the milkshake), so its another big prove that her hubby was defenseless when she heat him with an ornament and not using a baseball stick to threaten her and she just killed him by defense as she said, all are lies, she also ruined her dead hubby’s reputation by saying he was a cocaine/violent sex abuser and beat her all the times, while his friends/relatives said he was not ....

pfff, when i read the first few lines of your story, i felt happy that there are still good people in this crule world, but then, oops, i thought the western countries have better social system so that there won't be any people who suffer from hunger etc? we also have social system, but the monies given to the poor are not that much

its good that the back and foot of your mother are not that serious, do persuade and comfort her that the operation is minor and that she will be super-fit afterwards , my mum is getting old too, she has a flu that never goes

OMG, i don't know that there are lots of chinese in germany, its horrible that we have such a big population :o, yes i do agree that the chinese government has its fault in handling thie tibet incident, they are just too stubborn and not open, they should evolve and change to meet today's world, and not acting like the cold war time :help:, well, the majority of the chinese people are very anxious and angry about the olympics, coz it was supposed to be a happy event, but now seems it is not

i was stunned that your prime minister (sorry, i never can remember their names :o) wore such a sexy low-cut evening dress which showed off mroe than half of her breasts :o, may be i am too consecutive, i think she should not wear such sexy outfit :o

Hi gala :D

i don’t believe that her hubby raped and beat her, coz if so, the 2 maids who lived together in their house would have heard it, and they have testified that they never saw/heard the beating or saw any injury on the woman ......, the police also interviewed their close friends/relatives when they all say they never heard the woman complained of the violent acts of her hubby ......... . she even wais shameless to make up a false injury to one of her kids which later was discovered false ...... so this woman is a good liar but a brainless murderer ......

thanks for your kind words on my mum, she said thank you so much to this kind angel gala :D:kiss::hearts:

yes, its 200% sure that this woman is the murderer , but she told many lies to ruin the image of her dead hubby so that she could get less sentence , whats more unlucky is that the older brother of her dead hubby was also murdered one year later (he cheated monies in housing transaction), so now the kids are being governed by the younger sister of her hubby instead of the older brother

I'd guess around 1990, Miranda. Certainly not early enuf to take that picture! And I can't even remember where or when I found it. I started a Blast From the Past thread with a remembrance of Elly Hakami a few weeks ago, and a certain P.S. commented, and consequently I realized that my appreciation of Elly in 1981 was a precedent for my enormous respect for Monica's game a decade later, and for Monica. :-)

Hi Vero: It's sad to hear about your uncle. He must have severe pain so that the doctors decided to give him strong pain killers only.
About the kitten. Please don't give up, he might be smaller and ill, but with your love and care he has a chance to survive. He will end up as a strong big cat being the boss of all the others?

Hi Gala: I am fighting with my computers right now. Tried to synchronyse them but the system shows problems...puh!
You liked the dress of Angie? I think that it was o.k. when she entered the Opera, but the photos lateron were surely not planned....the dress seemed to have moved....:tape::lol:
Did you enjoy the sunny Sunday?

Hi Miranda: You are right about Mrs Merkels dress (see message to Gala). I don't think that she should wear something like this as people are joking. It was not private, it was official, but then nothing for her in public is private anyway. And of course there are younger adn more beautiful women that could maybe show more, but not she.... well, it was a fun story anway....
I hope your mum will get rid of the flue very soon. Take extra care of her. How are you and how is your foot?

Hi Gentry: Yes, this photo is a cute one. I think that the raquet at this time was thicker than the arms of young Monica. Welcome to the Selestials board. I became a fan of Monica the first time she beat Graf. I never like the press exaggerating so much about boring and icy Graf in Germany. Well, times went bye and it seems that Steffi is happy with her life. I would like that Monica is at least as happy... I miss her on the tennis courts.

yes, its hard for the men to decide where to place their eyes when Merkels is with this dress

may be i am getting old, my foot never seems to be fully healed, but there only left little pain, and it happens not that frequently, so its all right at the moment for me, i try to wear more comfortable shoes and use an "ice-bag" to help the foot, anyway, many thanks for your care :hearts:

how is the decoration work on your house, all finished, and wave has the prettiest house in her area? :hearts::hearts:, do you have a garden with lots of flowers, i love the flowers but not the horrible flying insects around them :tape::help:

hello gala :D

yes, we chinese people calls breasts as papaya coz they look so much alike :tape::devil::lol:, the more conservative chinese ones tend not to expose too much our papaya except for swimming as we think papapa is quite a private part :tape:, but it not the same for the African people, i watched a tv programme about some british ladies who went to remote african places to live with a small group of unique tribal coz they wanted to experience something new, the women there are mostly topless, but however they do not show too much their butt and legs as they think they are more private than breasts

oh i already had a cold/flu before the typoon, i took medicine on saturday and slept a lot, i brought a small umbrella which was no match with the strongt wind and rains :help:, but luckily when i stepped out of the supermarket, i discovered a big umbrella which someone threw into the rubbish bin, i picked it up and so was less wet as the umbrella is quite big

very tired today as i worked till 9 pm yesterday and woke up at 7 am as lots of clients are coming and the picky boss gave me lots of instructions to follow as ordering muffins/use small plates for muffin and big plates for sandwiches in the afternoon, pierrier, snapples, diet coles ........... :help:

Hi Miranda :D

I think every culture have their own private parts :lol: Here in (western) Europe we are very liberal on this things. We are not going naked or so but you can see nude women in newspapers and on tv ....It's sometimes much too much  I would never show my special body parts :tape: I'm much too shy ...

So you found your umbrella in the rubbish bin ? :p You are an fortun cookie
How do you feel today ? I hope better :D

Hopefully you was clever enough and tried something from the plates :tape:

hello gala :D

wow, nude women on tv, at which time of the day? if at midnight, then its better otherwise it is not too good as the kids may have watched it :o:mad:

yes, actually i have bought a small umbrella, but this big umbrella is better coz the small one will get blow away :help:, i threw away the big one immediately when i arrived home coz chinese people thinks its not good to take old umbrellas as the old umbrellas may carry ghosts :tape::devil::eek:

i still feel not good today, eyes very dry and painful and whole body tired too, but as i have lots of things to do at office, i can't take sick leave otherwise i would lie on sofa and watch Monte Carlos tennis

i don't know if my new dvd/dvd disks have problems, i specially came home as soon as possible as my good friend told me to record the last chapter of a tv programme for her, but i don't know why she can't read the disk in both computer and dvd player :help: (but i did succssfully record some programmes:confused:, may be this DVD+R forma disk is not good ), see, mimi is so useless :mad:

regarding your rep, yes your papayas are like ballons, the size of the ballons before they got blown up, as tiny as a little baby, poor gala :o while my papaya, yes, its cherrie like, fresh and young, unlike your old little falling one :o :D:D

Hi Gala:
The problem was that the back-up computer was not fully started....fault of my colleague. I managed to do the synchronisation rather quickly afterwards though. Have to do the next one today.
Merkels Busen als Busen der Nation? Da wehr ich mich aber dagegen, dafür ist der nicht schön genug....können wir nicht einen anderen dafür nehmen? Vielleicht den von Beck?
Did I tell you that I will have short holidays from tomorrow until Monday? Froeschle and I will go to Egypt and run around the pyramids. The weather should be great. I am really looking forward to a break. :)

Hi Miranda: I am not sure if the politicians had problems to concentrate...maybe they only thought what she has in mind and why she is trying to influence them with her papayas...
There is no progress in the decoration... We had an appointment with a carpenter but he never came. It seems we have to search for another one...

Hi Miranda :D

Nude women (and sometimes men too) are often seen before midnight ;) Okay not in the childrens program but in the evening .....

You really think ghosts live in the umbrella ? Then I think I have three ghosts at home because I have three umbrellas  But they are nice ....

Poor Miranda  I think your health is more important as your work at the office. When you continue to feel bad then please stay at home tomorrow

Can you play the DVD that you recorded for your friend on your computer/Dvd player ? Then it's maybe your friend cannot play DVD+ R on her dvd player or she have the wrong DVD program for her pc ?

if Merkel wanted to use her papaya to make the politicians to follow her thoughts, then may be this task will fail as her papaya are not that attractive, bad miranda

wow, your country is very open for sex :o, but sorry i am conservative, i don't think these nude scenes should be shown on tv

i feel a bit better today, thanks a lot

i asked my friend to return the disk to me to let me check if i can read it in my dvd, i haven't read it before i sent it to her, but i was successful in recording some agatha christie's and nadal's matches , but now i remember, seems the dvd player did not ask me to start initialling the disk as it did for the other disks when i put the disk into the dvd player, so may be the disk is a bad one , am going to record some other programmes for testing when i am free

How are you all doing? I'm fine.Sorry I've not come in here for some days, the first part of the week is always very busy and stressful for me :help: but now things go slower :D I can take it more relaxed.Tonight I go to my aunt's house for dinner to celebrate her birthday.

lol what's this Merken dress you've been talking about her lately in here?
Here we see naked women on tv even at kid's time ;) nobody is surprised anymore to see a naked woman, not even kids

Hello Miranda,
Yes,seems like Misha is out of danger now (according to the vet) but we still must take 100 eyes on him,as he's very small and delicate.

Hello Wave,
Yes,my uncle's situation is a sad one. What makes it more difficult is that he still has moments of concience so he is aware of all what's going on around him.At these moments, according to my other uncle, all he does is asking to eat.The rest of the time he sleeps. To Egypt? wow, enjoy it so much!

Hello Gala,
Seems like you crossing fingers helped Misha a little. Thanks  I'll take more photos of him as soon as I can,but in my oppinion he has not grown one bit.

i am not that fresh today, very tired, please see my post to veronika :D. but still i am happy coz my son finally won a title :bounce:

do you know how bad my boss is: yes its my fault to forget to put the battery into her new bought blackberry phone before charging it for 20 minutes, that i have damaged the buttons of her phone?? but then she say in front of my desk that i am so foolish that i will fail to press the "help alarm" when i get old, even her voice was not very high, but i think many colleagues should hear it, so you can see, i have no face in this comapny , luckily the phone company allowed me to change a new one for her, i have asked my computer man, my male friends etc, they all said forgetting to put the battery before charging will not damage the phone :rolleyes:

but my face is as thick as a wall, so i just swallowed these insults, i have a 6% increase in salary, so i have also increaed my mum's allowance and spent some monies on food to make myself better

hi gala :D

yes, you are very wise, but roger was also playing great, may be he will beat rafa in FO this time

thanks, but i am not too excited, because the inflation rate is growing very fast these days, the price of most daily necessities as food etc have increased almost for 50% :help:

no of course forgetting to put the battery before charging will not damage the phone, but the boss wanted to use this excuse to scold me, actually i just charged the phone without battery for less than 30 minutes, but she told lies, exaggerated and told her also mean hubby that i charged it for 2 hours :rolleyes:

yesterday i have no time to celebrate because 2 lazy secretaries took "sick leave" and there were some urgent things to do, i worked till 11:30 pm, whats more, my mum (as usual, even when she was younger, thats why i inherited her foolish brain :tape::lol:) forgot my order not to touch my recorder (coz i had no gut, only watched a bit by bit rafa's match and did not record as i thought he was going to lose, you know, the crazy mimi ony loved to record my idols' matches when they are winning ) yestery morning (i set a time recording at 10 am monday, to record rafa's match), but she was "smart" enough to turn it off :fiery:, but luckily she turned it on after 1 hour, so i still have something to watch ;)

Hi girls and missing boys! :)
I am back from my long weekend in Kairo, where I have seen the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. I loved both. Also the weather was great, not too hot, but nice and sunny. We had a very nice hotel, next to the pyramids. What I didn't like too much is that everywhere you go there are people trying to sell you thinks, offering to be you guide and they all want to trick you. Of course I know that they earn their living by it and that things they do for you for high prices in Egypt are still much cheaper than compared to Europe. But they are getting on your nerves I can tell you. Anyway, I was a great experience and the pyramids and the very old culture they have is so impressive.

How are you?
Miranda: Congrats on your salary upgrade and also on Rafa's win. I am sure he will win the FO this year again, simply because Roger doesn't believe that he could win there. By beating him at the important preparation events, Rafa will have the better confidence.

Gala: Any news about Angies dresses? Or is there any real politics going on in Germany? The funny part is that the new Oslo Opera (the event at which she wore the dress) is part of a sister project to one of our European projects....the Opera has some energy efficient features like a PV field and it uses sea water for pre-cooling in summer....

Vero: Good news about the litte cat. Have you been to the doctor again? Is he more optimistic now?
I am sorry to hear about your uncle. I have to think about how he feels, of course he has a lot of pain, but more like what he thinks. I guess we can't imagine what people think in this situation. I can only remember partly what my father said when he was that ill. It is very sad.

Angie and her sexy outfit are history now :lol:The politics is back to normality (da gibt es ja auch viel zu tun)

Hello wave :D

welcome back :D:lol::wavey::bounce: happy that you enjoyed your trip in Egypt :D

For me, i don’t much like the Pyramids coz it was empty inside? i like the museum more, coz i always have a passion for the unique history of Egypt as mummies/their unique way of adoring the face in profile etc:hearts:. I especially love their temples (forgot the name, only remember one calls Phillppe temper?). Yes when i went there 10 years ago, the hawkers loved to chase you to buy their goods, its still the same now? Did you buy some bottles of the “colourful sands” in transparent bottles? I still have one box with me:angel:.

thanks for your kind words, fingers crossed for nadal to win his fourth FO title, but its not 100% sure that he would win coz there are still lots of contenders i.e. roger/Ferrer (he almost was 40-0, 5:4 up in the second set before he made lots of errors)/Davydenko/Almargo/Monaco/Novak .....:help:

see you :D:lol:

Hello gala :D

well, to be honest, i prefer nadal to win wimby but i don’t think he will unless roger gets a bit older ;)

oh my friend who is going to Spain next month said the exchange rate between HK dollar and Euro is getting very high, when i exchanged last year, its euro 1 = HK$10, but now its euro 1 = HK$12.5!!:help:

yeah, she found another reason to scold me yesterday: one of her close friends told me to do a land search for her (since she said she had already talked with the bad boss and that the land search only costs HK$10, euro $1, so i did it for her) and then pass the search to my boss for review, but i guess the mistake that i made irrigated the nerves of the crazy boss (I wrote wrongly a telephone message, the correct name should be Benson Chan, but i wrote Benny, however the telephone number and the company are correct), that she scolded me with the highest voice that she did not know this land search thing and that i should not do it without informing her ........ but then i talked with her friend, she said she talked about this land search thing with the bad boss last Saturday ....... but don’t worry, her friend Miranda always wear a thick face, my only concern is $$$$ ;)

no, i am just being honest, both of me, my mum/dad/brother/sister, all have foolish brains :help:

the problem is i did not tell my mum to record for me (i have set up everything in advance), i just told her not to touch any button ........ don’t know why she turned it off .......

oh i haven’t changed my password, its the same for me in the MTF, its ok for MTF as my password there is very easy to remember, but not in WTA:confused:

being kind does not do any justice for me, i used to help the boss's sister a lot i.e. typed application letters (it was long time ago in the 90's when computer were not that popular and not every one knew how to type), booked tickets ... etc

a few weeks ago, she told me to use my boss's mililege to book business class seats for her to Toronto, she kept on asking me the price for a economic seat as she wanted to reimburse the boss a bit by paying her the cost of a economic seat, but since my boss told me that she did not require her sister to pay her back, so i told her that theres no need to pay my boss back, but as she insisted, at last i told her the price but told her that please don't tell my boss that its me who told her as she might scold me,

but i don't know if her sister wanted to set me up or trhat she did not mean it but just that she is foolish, she told my boss that i told her that she might scold me :fiery::banghead::cuckoo:, the result: of course i got more scolds from the boss, telling me not to make her a bad image

You are clever, funny ,warmhearted ,a perfect secretary,a good friend and daughter, loyal and these are only a few things about you  :worship::kiss:

They said his wife didn't know but I don't believe this  I think she knew that he abused his own daughter as child !!!!!!! It's a real tragedy .The youngest kids can't talk or walk because they were raised up in this cellar  And the bad monster (he is a monster in my eyes) is proud that he was so clever to fooled the world ...

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hello gala :D

oh i will jump over my ceilings and reach the roof of my neighbour who lives above me, and say “hello, how are you, i am old jumping fork mimi” lol :devil:

i think the governments have to do something to lower the price of the daily necessities ....

i feel so touched that you praised me so much, i think the real clever, funny, warmhearted, a perfect flower shop owner, good friend, good daughter and good master is = the great German angel gala :bigclap::hug:

yes, his wife is useless and is bad, i am sure that she knew her hubby is bad, she should leave him and not to live together with this heartless monster, she is not a good mother, a good mother would have cared and protected their kids , i read today that their former tenant said he saw this woman helped her hubby to run a trolley full of food and headed to the cellar, whats more, how could she unaware since her hubby spent so much on food etc, she for sure knows that her hubby hided her daugther and was helping him, she is heartless ......... my eyes are again fill with tears when i read how the victim hide her sadness and tried her best to raise her kids .......:bigcry: how poor and great is this woman, i wish her the best in her new life:inlove:, still feel horrified and with deepest sadness how she managed to live during this long 24 years, especially for the first few years when she was all alone with no babies to occupy a bit of her sad soul ..........:bigcry::bigcry:

THIS BASTARD IS AS WORST AS HITLER, MAY GOD PUNISH HIM IN HELL FOR EVER! :fiery::shout:

today gonna meet my old friends for a dim sum gathering which is long missed, and on Sunday, may play a bit tennis if there is no rains :umbrella:

see you on next Monday and have a nice weekend :music::baby::smoke::woohoo::yippee::bigwave::bana na:

Hi Miranda :D

Maybe you will break the "TRampolin High Jump" world record ? Then you will be Miranda the flying meat ball :lol:

I agree with you but the worldwide governments will do nothing against this financial crisis. The richer willl get richer and the poor people willl even get more poor :sad: That's an scandal !!!!!

I'm also sad and angry when I read something about this sad story. This poor woman and her kids lived in a never ending nightmare but now they are free and this is the most import thing .Now they can start a new life but certainly this will not be easy.
The wife seems to be much too afraid by this monster but this is no reason to stay with him.She should leave him many years ago ....Then this things would never happened !!!!

Don't worry  The monster will go to hell .....

Enjoy the Dum Sums and the Tennis :hug:

hi gala :D

yes, if even the neighbour knew that the daugther was raped by her father, how come her own mother did not know? you know, i got a red dot from an aggressive poster in MTF when i said the mother should also be sent into prison, he said the mother knows nothing , the bad miranda is not getting used to red dot, so i wrote back "those who believe that she knows nothing is as dumb as a pig :lol:"

oh its the same for us, very hot yesterday till evening, as heavy rains poured out afterwards, i always prefer cooler weather than hot weather :wavey:

I also think the mother knew what's happened there, but sometimes people can be blind when they don't want to know ....

We have very warm today :D I wish you cooler weather.I know you prefer it before hot weather.

Heavy rain ? This have maybe something to do with this Cyclone in Myanmar ? 15.000 dead people  Poor people

hi gala :D

after enjoying a peaceful monday as the evil boss hasn't came back ;), today its back to hell again, still can't leave the office at 7:14 pm now

ai, the more i read, the more i feel sad and horrify for the poor woman, it is reported that her evil father ordered her to dig up the cellar herself and in the first 9 months, she was handcuffed in a tiny place ......... if this bastard is successful in avoiding jail but get into a mental hospital as his lawyer said to where he belongs, i don't believe in god any more as there is no justice at all , he clearly is not mentally ill but just heartless :sad:t

i read also that a geman mother put her 3 dead babies into a fridge, how horrible today is some people??!! :help:

yes, poor people, i guess if the Myamar government pay more attention to their citizens and built them better enforced houses, there won't be so many victims ..... may them rest in peace :angel:

lets talk about something nice: i walked away from the tennis court and have a walk when its not my turn to play, i discovered a couple with their 3 dogs, one is golden retriever, 1 is a type of german dog (don't know in english, is it Slepsa, sorry i just translate it from chinese :o) and a traditional chiense dog, to my surprise, even they are of different breeds, all of them got along very well , the golden retreiver may be was too tired, he just lied down and had little reaction when i touched him, while the chinese typed dog smelled my hand and looked like he wanted a hug :hearts::lol:

see you :lol::lol:

Hi Miranda :D

Are you still busy with work toda ? I'm busy

Don't worry  I'm sure this monster will be send to jail.He is maybe mental ill but he was not ill as he made this plans. You know he made the plan for the bunker in 1978.There were also videos that show him on holidays in Thailand. He looks there like a normal tourist ....

We have here in Germany nearly every week new "dead babies" .Mothers gave birth ,kill them and then they throw it away :(:sad:

I also heard that the Government in Myanmar is not enough taking care about their citizens  But I feel very very sad because of these poor people

It's not important if dogs are from the same breed. If they get along very well then they don't care.Golden retriever are cute and I'm sure the chinese and german dog were cute too :hearts:

Hello gala :D

i am sorry that you are so busy, i wish you a free day tomorrow :D. The bad boss has disappeared for some time, but i am not sure if she will come back later, if so, then i have to work overtime :(

yes, a mentally ill person should lie on bed most of the times, and not having the brain and energy to think of all those heartless plans:rolleyes:, besides that he is heartless, he is also shameless and is a coward, why not to admit the guilt bravely, at least do something good before you die!! :fiery:dirty sick one man, sorry, i hate him so much that if i can have a chance, i will kick and beat him!! :fiery:

i think these mothers are really strange, coz some of them were not that young when they gave birth and threw away the babies? if they hate babies, they should do some birth control precautions right? after all its, 21st century and not 1950’s?

yeah, golden retriever is well-known as being mild and peaceful, but strangely we just got 2 news about golden retriever beating its own masters ....... :help:may be HK is too hot for these long hairs dogs:help:

Hello Gala :wavey:
Sorry to read you are busy.Take it easy  Are you talking about that crazy man in Austria? I'm horrifies by this story :fiery:

Hi MIranda,
Golden retrievers beating their masters? that's surprising to hear.As you said, golden retrievers are very peaceful dogs. They musn't have been very well raised and trained to act this way.

yes poor rafa was injured and got killed, actually he had 5 break points in the first set but could not covert one, well, ferrero was very good yesterday, now rafa will drop to no.3 soon and will never reach no.1, and the bad hearted posters in MTF are jeering at him :fiery:

i don't thinkat that austrian man is crazy, he is simply HEARTLESS, fierce animials as lions would not harm their kids, a cockroach is better than him :fiery:

yeah, and one Saint Bernard dog bite his owner too when she wanted to put up a mask for him so that he won't lick his wounds, the owner was angry and sad and said she might abandon him

i am not that busy, but as the bad boss went out to slack and came back very late at 6 pm something so i left the office very late, and whats more, i guess the weather makes me feel very tired :help:

if this crazy monster is smart, its better that he shuts his dirty mouth up , if at first he allowed his "granddaughter" to live a normal life and not being kept in this dirty cellar, she needed not to be sent to hospital :fiery:, this tyrant always think he is right, he is the king and others are slaves .... the more i read, the more i hate him and so is his wife, i am sure that if the neighbours/friends knew Elizabeth was beaten and raped by her father, this Rosemarie as a mother should have known, she is very evil too :fiery:

may be these womens want to save more monies so they don't eat birth control pills or buy condoms for their men :tape::confused::lol:

Hi friends!
How are you?
I am o.k. lot's of things to do, for the office, at home, etc....
But I prefer to enjoy the wonderful weather....which I could not do so far, I only look from inside through the windows....:o
Maybe tomorrow.
I read that you are discussing a lot about the Austrian madman and the mothers that have killed their babies and "stored" them in the fridge. I think it is terrible to see by these examples how crazy and dangerous people are and nobody knows that. It's the same when you read about what monsters there are in the US crime statistics. How can anybody do those things. It makes me afraid of menkind as a whole....would we know if one of our neighbours is doing something bad?
Sveta and Henin are out of Berlin. I thought that Sveta would have a good chance to even go the final, despite of Serena and Henin being in her half. I assumed that it would be a rather hard match between the two others and should could take advantage of that. I was obviously wrong. So Serena will have a cakewalk and will also beet JJ or AI in the finals easily. Boring. Why does Sveta have problems against those mediocre Russian/Ukraine type players?
Have to continue working now. Take care and anjoy your weekend!:wavey:

Hello gala :D

weekend is here, so that you can rest :D.

sorry, i beg to differ, i don’t think that monster is really that “kind” (did his best for his family), he just wanted to create a better image for himself to avoid getting heavy punishment:rolleyes:, well, if it is really what he thought, Elizabeth went wide during her teenager years and he wanted to keep her out of the bad things by not allowing her to have contact with the outside world, it does has some sense but if being so, he could just simply shut her in his own house or another house which is at least big enough for a human to live, and not at the tiny cellar which is even too small for a dog! :fiery:How about the raping/beating, its also for her own good right? how evil is this man!:fiery:

no this man has no shame/heart/sympathy, he only cares for himself, haha, if its so good to be trapped under a cellar, why he did not do so for himself??!! and i read that he said he is good to her daughter as he brought her flowers and books every time when he came to her??!! :help: why no mention of the beating and raping??!! :fiery: it is good for his “grandchildren” under the cellar never to receive education?? :fiery:

sorry, i also beg to differ with regards to the mother who regretted after they knew they have to take care of the babies which are troublesome, coz if they just gave birth once, they its understandable, but why to give birth to one baby after the other??! or may be they want to get more social allowances ;)?

at first i wanted to scrip my tennis session as i wanted to watch my son nadal’s final in Rome Master Series, i was getting to this as he got the finals for 3 years, well, now i can play through the whole session ....... and on Monday, its our public holiday, my friend invited me to bbq at her home, well at first i did not want to go coz i feel very tired and wanted to rest, but since i have rejected her a few times (actually she did not invite me direct as i am not very familiar with her) so its better that i go, bring along a bag of diapers for her new born daughter, so see you next Tuesday and have a nice weekend :lol:

seems now Ana I is going to win the title, i feel pity sad for Henin, along with momo, why they are in such poor forms? and for henin, it is said that she plans to retire 2 years later, its strange for me, coz if i am winning, i would like to win more, 7 slams is great, but why not aiming to win 10 more, just like Steffi?

This man is the evil !!!!!! He is also very hypocritical :fiery: I think deep in his heart and soul he knows which crimes he made but the monster in him didn't accept this ....

He destroyed the lives of Elisabeth and the kids  But they are alive and so they have a little chance for a normal life ......I think the most important thing is now that this monster will be send to prison and so the family knows that he will be behind bars ....

I also find this a strange story. One baby okay but three ?????? I mean his wife must be blind .....

How are you doing? I spent my weekend watching tennis on tv (Berlin) and studying for my upcoming russian exam. How about you?

Hello Miranda,
Yes,I heard Rafa was injured and Ferrero got bounced at the following round,so that shows Rafa was not at his best for the match  Yes,of course that austrian man is heartless, but in my oppinion he is also deranged, sick and crazy.I was reading the weather makes you tired, what's the weather you have now in HK? Here we've been having since last thursday rain :o Enjoy the bbq at your friend's house and the off monday :D

Hello Gala,
Well,I didn't get to see Sveta play at all in Berlin as she lost the next match  such a bad tourney for her.I hope she shows in better form in Rome.Talking about Rome,Amélie will not play.I know this is for her best and health is the more important but I'm still  over the news.Seems since last year,no luck for her at all...Enjoy your holiday too :D

Happy birthday Jérémie,

Hello busy Wave :D
How are you besides being busy? I'm afraid of mankind as well.Well, you were wrong,I think Safina surprised us all this week getting the title in Berlin :worship: I have been following her for quite some time (you know I like the Safins a lot since they trained in Valencia years ago and I find Dinara a nice, funny girl) and I never expected these results. The talent has always been there, but seems her head was always the problem. This week,no problems with the head. Now if only she can mantain that level, she has a place for sure in top-10.I really don't know what happened to Sveta  but this result is really disappointing and bad for her,as much as her early exit from Australia  The match was not shown on tv so I have no idea what went wrong with her after crushing her opponent in the first to get that result in the next ones :o
Don't work too hard

hello gala and veronika :D

may be its getting warmer, so the lazy boss arrives very early these days, that means i cannot write in details, so i just write briefly :wavey:

speaking of mother's day, my sister is really bad, she did not celebrate or give my mum any gift these years and we are accustomed to it, thinking her finance is not that well, but this year, she suddenly called us on sunday and said she wanted to come to my house, we all thought may be she has changed and would get something for my mum, but pff, nothing, no gift, no cash, she still was faceless enough to ask my mum to cook dinner for her (at first she said she would buy some lunch boxes for her and her daughter, and we just need to prepare my and my mum's dinner) but she then said she did not have a chance to buy, so my mum has to cook for her as well :mad:, but luckily i gave her some cash and the bad brother gave her some too, so overall she is still having a good mother's day

Hello gala :D

thanks for your kindness, but i live far away from the earthquakes zone, it is in mainland china, at least 3 hours of flight from HK:wavey:

yes this world is getting crazy, so many natural disasters .........

thanks for your kind words, but i am a bit sad/angry that i don’t have any good relatives, most of them are selfish and only love to take my advantage, you know, every time my sister goes to my house, its me who treats her with dinner, but on the other hand, she almost never treats me (even when she was still working and was in a better finance situation), yes, you are right, she is heartless, i think both her and my brother inherited my bad father’s selfish blood ..........:help:

and the evil bad father shows his bad heart again, my mum is getting old and so her flu goes and come back from time to time for almost 6 months, and as the doctor she visited is near the place where the bad dad has lunch, so my mum asked the bad man to get the medicines for her, but then the bad father knows the costs of the medicines, got angry, saying that my mum spends too much monies on medicines even the monies were paid by me and not him :(

yesterday, after my mum told him to get more medicines, he showed his temper again, throwing the medicines onto the floor and refused to help!!! (he loves to throw things just like spoiled kids/women, he threw the tips which my mum intended to give to the poor old man who carried the gas bottle when we were still living in the old house onto the floor, saying its too much, even its not paid by him!, threw wallet onto the floor, saying i missed out the confirmation paper for him to get the new identity card where actually its not required, threw the mobile phone we bought for him when he failed to handle it despite my nephew taught him at least 10 times ............) even my mum is not feeling well, she still cooks for him, but he continues to bully/hate us coz he thinks we are bad for letting him to live alone (butactually who can stand him??!!) i want him to DIE SOON!!

its very nice that you and your brother took your mum out for dinner, your mum is a happy mum :D

i did have some good moments, I met at least 15 dogs in my friend’s apartment, she lives in an island and although her building does not allow pets, many of them ignored the rules and keep one (actually the environment is suitable for keepings pets coz they have a very large garden, club house and a beach), i even managed to hold 2 poodles, they are so lovely :hearts:

Hi Miranda: Good to hear that all is well with you and Hongkong. Yes, we know that China is very big, still I have read that they could feel the quake in Bangkok... We see in tv real sad pictures. A whole school full of kids was destroyed. So many dead bodies and so many people without houses...:sad::sad: First the taifun in Birma and now the earth quake. Terrible. What influences do you feel in HK? Do people spend money for the Sezchuan people?

Hi Gala: Of course my mum got a big kiss for mother's day. By now she has stopped going to the physiotherapy and want the surgery done. Have to make an appointment for her with the doctor soon.

Hi Vero: Yes, you were right. Safina suprised me. Good work. I always thought that she would never be able to beat the big ones as she is so unstable. She has the "weapons" but not the coolness. She proved me wrong. Hopefully Sveta will get into form for Roland Garros.

Henin retired. That is a suprise. Didn't she keep telling that she will pay much longer than Kim? Anyway I think that the tennis girls are rather overpaid. It is not o.k. that they can simply stop playing withe the age of 24/25 because they want to "live". I also want to live, but my account says that I have to keep working so that I can live....

Hello gala :D

yes, victims first in Mynamar and now in China, ai, this world is getting crazy, may the death rest in peace .......:scared:

thanks for your kind words on my mum, i already told her the kind gala’s kind words and she is very touched, its easy to said then to do on ignoring the bad dad, if we do not see him often, then its ok, but you know he comes up every day for dinner, just like a ghost ........

yeah, if i can have a chance to keep a dog, most likely i will choose a tiny poodle, you know, i can hide him in a bag when i carry him outside so that no one will notice .....:secret:, but its not very easy for me to keep a dog coz this job has taken up most of my time, i think i can only do it when i retired and live in another house which allows dog ........:wavey:

so many sad news: Austrian bad father/typhoon in Mynamar/earquake in China and now even for tennis, no good news: :bigcry::bigcry:i am warming up to henin and she retired, why??!! i always thought she is an aggressive player who wanted to win as much as she could, but seems i was wrong, 7 slams is great, but god, she could have won at least 2-3 more

all the familiar faces when i started to watch tennins in 1995 were gone: Steffi/Monica/Hingis/Kim/Jennifer/Justine :bigcry:

i think serena/venus/maria etc are jumping in joy coz now they have more chance to win slams, especially the french when justine was dominating :p

hi wave :D

thanks for your kind concern, i am ok, earthquake seldoms happens in HK :wavey:

we don't feel too much influences in HK as china used to have lots of natural disasters these years as storms/floods etc, many actors are making donation, and common people too :wavey:

i still don't believe its only the lack of motivation that made henin retired, didn't she want to win wimby? she is still young and if she plays, even with present form, she has a huge chance to win her 5th RG, i do think she can win at least 2- 3 more slams, i guess she may have some personal illness or stuff that are bothering her? coz if not, she is not married/having a baby like kim, why to retire so soon?

Hi Miranda :D

It makes me sad when I see the poor victims in Asia. Two disasters in just two weeks are much too much

I know the bad dad is often around but believe me to ignore him is the best thing :D

You will get your tiny dog one day :dog: But maybe you can get a ´cat before ? You don't need so much time for a cat ....

I'm also surprised about Justine's decision  I was never her fan but I certaiinly admire her for her beautiful one handed backhand :worship: Yesterday was a sad day for Tennis

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hello gala :D

sorry, i only love dogs, don’t like cats:tape:, i love dogs because of their loyalty, while cats seem difficult to control and are rather cold ......:help:

justine seems to be a very determined person, i think she will never come back, now it seems that Graf is really a super woman, she came to tour so young, at 13? and played for 17 years, while Justine/Kim etc only played for 8-9 years, but already felt tired of it, you know i don’t much like graf because of monica, i was wishing justine to surpass the number of slams graf won, but my wish is unfulfilled ....

see you :D:lol:

Hi Miranda :D

I also prefer dogs but I like cats too .You know I love every animal :D

I think today it's much harder to play Tennis. The womens field is very very strong at the moment  But I also can't understand that the most players retire with 25/26 :eek: I think this is much too early ....

We have sunny weather again but I think we will get some thunderstorms today

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hi girls!
yes, life is surprising. We thought that the Williams sisters would retire young, isn't that what's the I know it at father Richard told us? And then it's Henin. O.k. Serena and Venus only play of they feel fit and like to do it, so it's like a semi-retirements what we have seen in the last year. But Henin? Didn't she play because she loves tennis? Maybe the real good players play because they love to win and if that is no longer the case they simply stop it. But in fact I don't think that Henin wouldn't have won any more big tournaments, why shouldn't she? Maybe Miranda is right, maybe she is ill or depressive?
I have seen this morning on tv that they have saved a group of kids from one of the destroyed schools in China. That was great to see. But of course the most time the helpers only find dead people. It must be terrible to do this job, but of course it is even more terrible to wait until the helpers find your relatives.
Our weather is no longer as nice as during the weekend and at the beginning of the week. It looks as if we could have again rain today, but still the temperatures here are quite warm.
I will be in Lyon at the beginning of next week, so probably no messages from me.
I wish you all a very nice weekend. We plan to do the final painting of our balcony furniture so that next weekend we can have a balcony BBQ celebration. :)

Hello gala :D

yes gala is a much better person than fat mimi coz i have preference, i don’t like ugly and naughty animals as monkeys:tape:, i am not an angel like you

now i think may be with henin’s physical deficiency i.e. her height and small frame, she needed to train much harder than other players, so may be thats why she is already tired as a 40 years old?

the crazy mimi sometimes like thunderstorms, but only when i am safe at home, coz i love to watch the rains:lol:

see you next monday and have a nice weekend :D:lol:

hello wave :D

I guess Richard Williams, as always, is playing mind games, keep saying that his daughters will not play for long for making their opponents to “loose their concentration”, but in fact they enjoy the glory and fame very much ;)

i just can’t watch the tv news about the situation in Zichuan any more, its so sad ........

oh i went to Lyon last year, actually many people find me strange coz almost every one loves Paris, but however i still don’t much like it after two visits, i find it too crowded ........:tape:, i think i will never go there again .....:tape:

wow, i wish that you are going to enjoy your new beautiful home and bbq :hearts::D

have a nice trip, take care and see you later :D:lol:

Hi Waverella :wavey:

Maybe Justine have the Burn Out Syndrome ? Sometimes people get this when they are under stress .Justine will be missed and maybe she will miss Tennis after some months.I don't rule a comeback out .She is young enough ...Mal sehen was passiert ...

Today they rescued a german tourist .They found him after 114 hours  Yes,I also admire these helpers who never give up hope :worship:But mostly they find nnow only dead people :sad:It's really sad ...

Have a nice weekend and have a great time in France

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hi Miranda

I'm not an angel ;) but I really like nearly every animal.I always think they are all God's little creatures :D Why should I don't like them even they are ugly or strange ???? I like them all .....

This could be also a reason but I think Henin was very fit.She was maybe tired but I think every player knows that they have hard to work when they want to stay on top.

Crazy crazy Mimiranda :p When I see and hear a thunder then I do the same like Theo.We are shaking like an Aspen :tape::lol::lol::lol::lol:

See you :kiss::wavey:

hello gala :D

i insist, you are an angel :hearts::angel:

may be henin know the winning fire inside her heart was gone? anyway, its a wastage of talent coz she is the rare one with great skills

i don't like thunder and the lightings, but i love the rains, ai, how i missed my old government house, it has a balcony so i could watch rains there, now due to saving of space, only rich houses have balcony

i had a good sunday, eating pizzas with naughty nieces and nephew (only a scare was given when the bad dad suddenly came at 6 pm, i gave him money to eat outside on sunday coz don't want my mum to work too hard, my mum said he is bad, wanting to check us :tape::devil:, but the bad mimi and her sister etc did not ask him to join us, luckily the pizza man came after the dad left ;), also my good son nadal beat the mighty roger again, hahaha, roger was leading 5:1 and 5:2 in the 1st and 2nd sets, but ended up losing 5:7 7:6 and 3:6 :lol:

see you :lol::lol:

Hi girls!
They provide internet connection during the plenary session, that's why I can send this message. The next session I have to give a presentation myself though...puh!
Congrats to Miranda and Rafa! Well done. I am sure that even Roger himself does not believe anymore that he can beat Rafa this year on clay. Very impressive.
So Henin has deleted her points in the ranking system and we have a new no. 1....not sure if I like that. I am not really convinced that Maria is very talented...anyway, she has the most points right now, so she deserves to be no. 1.
Gala: Burn out? She didn't play so much the last months, did she? Well, what do I know. Anyway, it's her life and her decision. I have read about this tourist. He was not really saved, he more or less had to stay in a small village in the earth quake are, but had no injuries, nor was he under some destroyed house. So to me this is only a story because he is German. It's like those reporters that tell us the most important thing was that there was a panic in the town with the big water damm. It's just because they were part of it. But the people living there and fighting to find some survivers or having lost their relatives are much more important than those reporters that were a bit afraid. How did you spend your weekend?
Miranda: Good weekend for you, wasn't it? (See above). Lyon is quite nice, though the food is very heavy: Cheese, sausages, etc. Our meeting started already yesterday with the preparation session, but now is plenary and after that so-called technical sessions. I have managed to get one of the few tables so it's easier to be online or work on the computer. How are you and how is your mum?
Vero: Did you have a nice weekend? How is the cute little kitten?

Miranda

hello wave :D

so nice that you still remember us when you are in Lyon :hearts::kiss:

keep calm, i am sure that your presentation would be a successful one :worship:

actually i only watched a little bit of both rafa vs novak and rafa vs roger, coz the scores were very close, and when rafa was losing, i switched to another channel :tape::help:, i still believe that both roger and novak are the biggest challengers to rafa on clay, and whats more, seems poor rafa was a bit injured, so don't know how he performs in RG, i hope roger draws Novak in his quarter's

actually i don't understand too much about tennis skills, but i also agree with you thar maria is not the most talented nor does she possess the best skills, her net plays are very bad, but however her weapons are effective for winning i.e. big serves and groundies ;)

yes the weekend was good for me, except that i suffered some heart breaks during rafa'smatch, he was trailing 1:4 in novak's match and 1:5 in roger's match :help:

my mum is not too well, she is getting old, her flu does not go and keep coming back , how is your mum :wavey:

see you and take care :lol:

Hi Miranda

I also think Henin's retirement was a failure. There were still a few titles in Henin but it was her decision

I also like to go through the rain in summer :p But only when it's warm ;)I also have no balcony  But therefore I have a garden :D

I'm glad that you liked your sunday and the Pizzas  And Rafa won again :pDidn't I told you before ? ;)

My mama is fine :D I wish your mama a speedy recovery :D I think when it's warm in summer then her flu will go away ....

See you :kiss::wavey:

Hi Waverella :wavey:

It's Henin's decision. She is a adult woman and she knows what's the best for her.
Sharapova is now the new number 1.That's okay because she have the most points at the moment and she really played good in the last months.

In the first news they said he was rescued but later they wrote he only stayed in this little village.Reporter saugen sich doch immer Stories aus den Fingern und die wahre Dramatik lassen sie aus :fiery::eek:

I worked in the garden and I watched together with some friends and my brother "DSDS" :p Yes,Gala watched the final and even my favourite lost I was quit amused ;) This week is "Eurovison song contest " week :bounce: Da freue ich mich schon riesig drauf ;)

See you :kiss::wavey:

p.s ARbeite nicht zuviel :p

hello gala :D

yes, if i were henin, i will play on and try to win a few more titles, i also can't understand this? may be she is not as greedy as me and Steffi Graf ;)?

oh a garden is better, you could plant flowers and fruits :hearts::hearts:

but rafa is a bit injured, i don't know if he has time to recover for RG , as usual, roger is not gracious on defeat, never admit his opponent played better, just that he played bad, he is like Serena :p

thanks for your kind words, but i don't know if my mum will feel better in summar, coz you know, our summar is very hot, need to turn on air con and fans, which is bad for the cold/flu to recover

see you :lol::lol:

hi my dear selestials,

just popping by for a short while. pardon me for being away from the board for so long. women's tennis is pretty boring these days. besides, i was busy with exams and some other new things =) i finally bought a puppy after so many years, aunty gala has a new grand-nephew and theo :dog: has a nephew now! but it still hasn't learnt proper toilet training...

i hope all of you have been fine and happy.. aunty mimi, hope the evil boss hasn't been giving you problems. aunty gala, how have you and my dear cousin been? wave, guess you must be happily travelling around the world still for your work. lol. veron, has everything been good?

hello little boy grice :D

so nice to see you again :bounce:

wow, you finally get a dog, your mum finally agreed that you could keep a dog or that you moved out and live alone :wavey:, what is the breed of that dog , let me guess, is it a 西施? oh he does not know how to go toilet properly? be patience or you may ask your friend who has dogs to teach him?

oh the evil boss is still the same, but since i got a total of 16% increment in salary for these 2 years, its hard for me to get another job with higher salary .... so the greedy auti mimi still has to stick to this job, don't worry about me, your old auti used to wear a thick face, i am immuned to nasty insults and scolds :lol:

see you :lol::lol:
