Cohen was fine when she was up 3:1 and *5:4 in the first set. Then Michelle fought back and Aloro gave up not to get slaughtered in the second set!

Good job Michelle! Easily the best player of the 1993 generation! :yeah:

Well wait for the others to arrive on tour first ^^. Being precocious doesn't always result in being the best.

For the moment, I agree ... But only for the moment. The 1993 generation is probably one of the most interesting, there are many many interesting prospects whose talents will also blossom (Orlik, Gibbs, Mladenovic, Diyas etc). Michelle had the chance of being coached by Bolletieri & to play her first WTA event last year. The others are still in junior ITFs. I would personally wait for some time before asserting that "she is easily the best of the 1993 generation". She is one of the best, obviously.

I see your point but come on now. Look at her junior results too. They also beat the other 1993 girls. The other girls can definitely catch up in a couple years but as of right now there's no contest.

Don't think so. Sharapova's always been way ahead of the other girls of '87, Ana started to catch up with her last year. Same goes for Tati (way ahead of Agnes and the rest 'till last year) and Nicole... If anything, distance between Michelle and the rest will become bigger during next 2-3 years.
