I was researching Chanda Rubin today, and I came across this result from Wimbledon 1995:

R64 - C. Rubin def. P. Hy-Boulais 7-6(4) 6-7(5) 17-15.

That's a total of 58 games. I'm not 100% sure, but this has to be the record :lol:

1990 tour championships Seles d. Sabatini 6-4 5-7 3-6 6-4 6-2 didn't even get to 58 games!

I doubt it. You might want to look back at the results in slams in the early days of the Open era, before the tie breaker was employed ca. 1970-ish. There were some LONG matches back then.
