Check it out, even gets a clap and a rare smile from the usually undiplomatic sour faced Pierce!

She may have had to abruptly retire due to knee operation gone wrong, but I will always remember her for her fighting qualities. She never had the build to be able to out hit the top players but she at least became one the very fittest players and really did the best she could and fought to the end.
Happy retirement Nicole

So instead they should sacrifice points to look graceful?

Nicole is still a great diver...back in the day they used to say that I was the best 'diver' downtown if you know what I mean and I know that you do.

It's been posted before, but thanks for reminding me . :)

Beautiful shots from Nicole. Pierce did a good job to stay in the point. What I love about Nicole is that she may not be the most talented player on the circuit but she MADE herself into a player with lots of hard work and determination. I always loved her fighting spirit!

I love how Nicole used to fight so hard for every point.

More women's tennis players should hit shots like that. Fuck trying to look graceful.

An amazing point to watch. I think is way better to sacrifice this way to win than quit. It's kind o rare in the women's circuit.

Nicole was Australian womens tennis for many years. Not very talented, tall, powerful or attractive but my goodness....could the girl fight and hussle. She will be really missed and what a fab point to show. Mary was clearly impressed!

It's a nice shot, but nothing close to the best ever, and it's been posted at least twice already.
