And with this result Marina adds the 25k Mildura Singles title to her doubles title :woohoo:

She never a lost a set all week, infact she only lost 16 games all week in the singles draw

Nice week for Kai-Chen too, beating the 6th, 3rd and 2nd seeds en route to the final

It really was one of the weakest 25k draws ever and Marina is two levels better than anyone else in the draw. But you don't win matches on paper and you still have to win them on the court. And Marina did what she had to do so good for her. :yeah:

Another easy 25k next week and if she approaches it in the same professional manner she did this week I can't see a different outcome occuring. :)

Expected but probably the second best tournament for young Kai-Chen,taking down Hewson,Wheeler and Adamzak, after making the 75K Kaohsiung semis back in 2006. :yeah: Keep it up,girl. :)

Your certainly right

On paper there should have been a Christina vrs Monique semifinal, but Kai-Chen took care of both of them on their hometurf!

Next week is indeed another easy 25k on paper, let's hope she can come out with the same result there :)

If they're talking about where Kai-Chen from, then I have to say Taiwan.

I was thinking the same, Jarka in 2006, Dellacqua last year and now Marina playing a serie of weak itf to get in the top 100, quite clever.

Very disappointed that Monique and Christina did not do better this week. I am sure either of them or the rest of the Aussies will come out firing next week. Go to our girls in Berri!
