I was expecting an easier win from Razzano - well done anyway. unfortunately I don't see many chances with Bartoli

I'm not very confident of Marion getting past Cibulkova in her current form. :p

Great match, some spectacular points from Razzano and nice fight of Alona.

Virgine looks totally tired, she was really at her edge out there.

urghhhh another 'fake' injury time out! there was nothing wrong with her bar being tierd and bondarenko having gained the momentum. i hate it so much, she had 2 bathroom breaks the trainer on twice she added like 20 mins to the match, and used them to stop bondarenkos rythem.

i hope she gets thrashed next match.

Virginie was leading 6-2 2-0 then her game collapsed.
Maybe she must have been tired from her trip in China, added to her back problems it's a really good performance against a really good player.

pff Bonarenko did the same thing at Wimbledon against Schnyder when she was down so she can hardly complain. Sure the rules suck but players are entitled to exploit them while they're there.

the contrast between Razzano on her game and off it is remarkable. She plays such a flat game that she can go from completely dominating match to being totally annihilated in the space of 10 minutes (and vice versa). The match against Ivanovic in Sydney was the perfect example. Although Ana is similar in a way so it was even more pronounced.
