Emotional Nicole vs. the Israeli crowd....it will be....

seriously, it will be better this time. Everybody knows here that it was too much and I'm sure that it will be completely different from what happened against Russia.

Germany is so lucky lately with Play-Offs
I think winners will be:
Italy
France
Germany
Czech Republic

Belgium (but Colombia has a good chance)
Austria (if Paszek/Bammer play)
Slovakia
Serbia (if Jankovic/Ivanovic play)

Really lucky... but this tie will be played in Argentina (on clay). Don't know if Dulko is playing.. if yes, I don't see Germany winning

I think it's time for a rethink of the Fed Cup format. 8 teams in the top division is too few. QF should be replaced by 4 groups of 3 teams playing in one venue to determine the semi-finalists, with semis & finals played as they are now. Bottom teams in each group go into play-offs to avoid relegation.

what about a 16 team knock out draw, with each round played seperately throughout the year? that is how the davis cup is done, right? possibly with byes for top 4 teams, and with all first round losers going into play-offs to avoid relegation. this would be the ideal format, in my opinion.

Argentina got lucky :D Winnable match at home.

I HATE this format. Fed Cup organizers should stop experimenting and stick to the 16-nations format that is used in the Davis Cup.

Nice easy draw for Serbia..
Its funny because based on Fed Cup rank, Croatia is seeded higher than Serbia.. Serbia will win if Ana/Jelena will play.
So lucky draw for Germany/Argentina.. they both dont deserve to be in World Group.. >_>'

 at some of the posts in here. If this few days showed up what happened against Russia (where they didn't complain much about the crowd) I don't want to know what will happen after sexy Nicole will come to Israel and even more soccer crowd men will come to see her. I hope she won't start crying. anyway I am pretty sure there will be livestream this time as well...

I just love Vaidisova, I am so there in the match Shahar-Nicole (I hope it will be as dramatic and good as in the USO).

I really think Argentina is the best draw we could get Ukraine and Czech Republic are very strong teams. And with Lisickis Aces and a Malek in good shape we will win.

If only Switzerland could get Austria with their team for the last tie  I suspect it will be Pasek and Bammer back which probably means back to regional qualifying unless Martina's doping offence is quashed and she decides to play Fed Cup for the first time in 10 years :tape: I suppose Patty could beat Bammer and Pasek if she's on and then doubles would be pretty even.

Czech Republic will beat Israel

Belgium will beat Colombia
Austria will beat Switzerland (although could depend if Patty plays or not)
Slovakia will beat Uzbekistan
Serbia will beat Croatia
