Petra Kvitova made the finals of the prestigious 100K final a few months ago in Bratislava, beating fellow future #1s in the process: Camerin, Parmentier, Koryttseva, and Savchuk. She broke some bones and contacted the flu before the final started so she lost to Malek there BUT she won two 25ks soon after her tour breakthrough in Bratislava, and now she's qualified for her first MD event ever in Paris. :worship: She had a direct feed into Stockholm last year but shhhh, this is her first real tournament IMO.

With her explosive backhand, solid serve, precise lobs, and deft finesse she's like a Sprem and Safarova combined, except so much better. :yeah: I expect many good things out of her. And that is why she will be world #1. :)
