I've seen enough to cheer for her consistently now. Before this event I wasn't convinced. Daniela is a real momentum player and from the end of the second set on she was fully determined to win this match. Emmanya Jan 21st, 2008, 03:50 AM And she has a doubles match RIGHT NOW. Maybe she's a bit tired from playing 2 matches 2 days in a row. :bounce: A little bit of drama, but you came through, Daniela! Congratulations, way to hang on!!! Rod the Bama Jan 21st, 2008, 03:53 AM Good win for Dani. :clap2: The match went the whole three sets as i expected it. Dani did a good job of rebounding from that first set and really put together some nice shots. Plus i`m glad that she didn`t blow things in the third set. As for Makiri, she looked impressive in the first set, but things went downhill for her afterwards, especially with the forehand. :( Still i`m very proud of her for making her best run in a Grand Slam to date. :clap2: | |
