This time Nadia also had a 5-x 2nd set lead and blew it.

Any information on Nadia's injury? How big a part did it play in this loss?

Radwanska will take any opportunity given.

0 UE for Aga 3rd set.

LMAO, really I mean Nadia...it is not that hard is it? She obviously needs a sports psychologist. But it was a good effort to get to the fourth round considering where you were last year.

Great job to Aga though :) First Q/F...I hope she can get to the semi's if mini Masha wins!

I suggest you get your eyes checked. Radwanska was hitting winners galore and doen 6-1, 5-4* 15-30 she smoked that winner down the line.

She hit plenty of winners. Gutsy as they come.

Petrova is a bit of joke. Big opportunity to get through. Though it would have been a bit of joke if she had a shot at GS semi-final given how poorly she has played this year.

Radwanksa is obviously a very good young player but is it just me or do top players often seem to play abysmal tennis against her? I know that she's probably doing something to contribute to that - i just can't see what :o

It's all her, I mean, who can handle a blazing fast 52 mph second serve? Not Kuznetsova.

I haven't seen an entire match of Aga's yet, I hope they show the QF on ESPN. Obviously she gets under the skin of the powerballers on a regular basis.

Important win for Aga :yeah:, I was so sure she would drive Nadia crazy ... but I didn't think she would apply this tactics at 61 30 just to irritate her even more ^^. Aga is obviously a tough player to beat, she reads the game so well & her shots are so accurate & consistently good that she doesn't need too much power to hit a winner. Perfect to beat players like Nadia or Sveta who tend to forget their gameplan when they are in difficulty.

Congrats Aga :D. Nadia , try a therapy in group with Amélie.

I knew Petrova would choke. She doesn't have the mind for these big, high-pressure GS matches. She doesn't have the gut either - seriously, what's with the beer gut?

That Agi is a breath of fresh air. I love her spark and intensity. She believes in herself and her game 100%, and that's what you need to succeed. That's what may take her very far in this sport. I want to see her take out Daniela in the next round.

Nadia only won 3 points total in the last set, is that true?

It's funny, because Petrova used to do that to her opponents for much of 2004-2006. I remember so many young, talented, up-and-coming girls just playing like crap against Nadia because she herself is crap, thus there would be no rhythm, millions of unforced errors would be produced, and Nadia would squeak through because of her serve. But nowadays the young girls like Golovin, Radwanska, and others are beating her. And I love it. There are so many flaws in Nadia's game to be exposed.

yeah Nadia is a big choker! But why nobody mentioned about she got injured in 3-rd set and just couldn't normally moving...
Nobody! And nobody feel sorry for her(

Your Aga was totally destroyed by Nadia in 1-st set. Totally
I like her but she'll never be a Grand Slam Champion, cuz she can beat "big" girls only when they have their own problems(mental or Physical) but when they on fire - she has no chance.
