Venus was injured in Luxemburg ;)really! Venus is undefeated for all intents and purposes.

Venus should blow through this draw.

but one match at a time.

LOL

Venus was hitting one-handed BH against Radwanska in Luxembourg!!!

The same could happen if they met again this year. It still counts as a win for Radwanska, obviously.

 that's funny. We should do that for the other side too:

Justine: 21-8
vs. Maria 6-2 Sets: 13/6
vs. Jelena 9-0 Sets: 18/5
vs. Serena 6-6 Sets: 13/15

Maria: 7-11
vs. Justine 2-6 Sets: 6/13
vs. Jelena 3-1 Sets: 5/4 (Maria's Tokyo win was a ret. @ 5-2 in the 1st set; not counting as a set win)
vs. Serena 2-4 Sets: 5/9

Jelena: 3-14
vs. Justine 0-9 Sets: 5/18
vs. Maria 1-3 Sets: 4/5
vs. Serena 2-2 Sets: 4/4 (Jelena's Dubai win was a ret. @ 4-3 in the 2nd set; not counting as a set win)

Serena: 12-10
vs. Justine 6-6 Sets: 15/13
vs. Maria 4-2 Sets: 9/5
vs. Jelena 2-2 Sets: 4/4

The top 1/2 is MUCH more competive, but I think that ( as expected  ) Justine and Serena are the two favorites to reach the semis, and it's really dead even from there. Serena has 2 set lead over Justine, but Justine's won the last 3 in a row.

 looks like this is going to be an exciting second week :bounce:

well.. if Vee loses before the SF..
then.. i think that the winner will come out from the top half...

right now.. we cant say which side if the draw will the winner
emerge from..!!
unlike FO and the USO..!!

Also, Venus is the only one with grand slams victories... If she beats Ivanovic, she´ll be in the final for sure

Venus has got it in the bag

and that loss to Radwanska does not count-she should have retired from it

Ridiculous opinion. Radwanska was leading 5:4 in the first set before injury. And that was 2 years ago. She was just 16 years old then.
