Nah I think a big name will take Henin in the latter stages of the competition, hopefully QF but more likely later.

Why didn't Pova do it at the YEC when Pova was playing REALLY well? Why will the AO be different? :confused:

Pova played better at the '06 USO F than the YEC '07 F. The result was pretty clear there, but I'm not here to argue. They're both champions. :)

I mean, saying Pova isn't that weird of a choice, really. She's a better chance to do it than almost everyone else.

the Henin critics strike again! but this is true, she is a very quiet champion kind of like federer or sampras, but this is not always the best thing for the women's game whose popularity comes from much more than just tennis itself. plus, many non-casual fans still view her as a cheat.

alas, her chances of winning ao, let alone beating henin, are hampered b/c of her hamstring injury. i can't believe she still hasn't dropped out of sydney. that's why i'm hoping davenport (if they meet) will beat henin. it makes the prospects of someone other than henin winning ao more tangible.
