Remember when Nadia was top 5 and consistently making it to GS QFs and losing to the most in-form players? :o The top is getting so crowded now, not sure where Nadia fits in. :awww:

Nadia may have officially "entered" herself into the tournament as a late entry, but she's not officially "in" the tournament unless someone who is already entered into the MD withdraws. Otherwise, she won't get in.

It doesn't matter. Being healthy for Melbourne is much more important.
Last year Nadia retired in her first match in Sydney.

Jankovic has a tough decision. She's defending finalist. Skipping Sydney would leave her with very little match preparation for Melbourne.
