Definitely Indian Wells. I would also say Los Angeles because it's so close to home.

No, her most sucessful tournament is probably Zurich. She's 22-2 and has won 4 times there. Her "worst" result is a final in 2000 and 2004 .

It should be 23-1 and 5 titles at least. I'm still bewildered how one chokes against Frizz :ras:

Indian Wells though, most certainly. :p

I think her favourite tournaments are the trio of Californian events in the summer (Stanford, San Diego and Los Angeles). In 27 appearances combined, she has failed to reach the SF only 6 times:worship: She has 4 LA titles, 3 Stanford and 2 San Diego.

Her Indian Wells record is of course very good, reaching at least the QF 11/13 appearances. She holds the record for most doubles titles there: 6.

Other tournaments she has outstanding records in are:
Pan Pacific (6 finals in 9 apperances),
Zurich (6 finals in 6 apperances),
Sydney (6 finals in 10 appearances).

and don't forget she's unbeaten at Linz in 2 appearances!

I think it depends of the surface like you said.
Tokyo (Pan Pacific Open) is on of her favourite tournaments, the surface suites her game a lot.
Amelia Island is her favourite on clay. She won it in 1997, 2004, 2005, plus at least a final in 2003.
Indian Wells is her favourite one for sure, and won it just twice though. She was finalist in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
I think that Summer American Hard court tournaments are kind of her favourite tournaments. Plus New Haven, she won it once (2005) but played 5 finals. (1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006)
Her favourite gran slam is the US Open, she said it an interview to a french journalist (l'equipe).
I guess Zurich is her favourite tournament so far as she won it 4 times.
