We can perfectly see her body has lost plenty of her once highly tonned muscle mass. Nothing that won't get back to place as she gets more matche sunder her belt. :D

Still a little big, but she should get to a good weight by the time the Ao warm-ups come around. Once she hits a good weight, though, she needs to hit the gym at least as much as she's hitting the practice courts. it's the reason why Pierce was so successsful during her 2005 comeback. Being fit gives you confidence in longer matches and helps you get to balls earlier and in better position; key for a hard hitter like Jeca.

Still looks as fierce as ever though :worship:. SHOO!

Some things get really annoying... that overwight and large tighs talk. Jelena is a athletic, great build type with long beautifull strong legs. Perfect body, slavic power.
If someone as a problem with that and like short legs skinny ugly "bitxes" go instead to a victoria "dego" beckham forum or... some sniffing-cocaine-anoretic-siliconized-super-models forum .
Another thing is that "pale" talk. She as the perfect skin tone just like snow-white. Some 100 years ago a pretty white smooth skin was very apreciated, then from the 60's to now the fashion is the tanned george hammilton and dego skin type, I don't know why... a skin tone like Dokic and Dementieva is the only one pretty, not that greasy ugly "soft" as shark skin dego skin.
The last one I wouldn't expect to hear... "Jelena coloured her hair". Now she even't is a natural blond? With contact lenses I guess, or maybe she isn't white at all, next thing she is from Afrika.

She is slowly slowly coming along. She is starting to get some definition and she has a hot little tan now.

That muscle is unbelievable, her arms looked ripped, and her body looks so much better from the last pic, this is gunna be a good 2008 for her.

Lovin' the tan. Her arms are like that though because she's straining them to hit the ball. But she definitely does appear to be in better shape already than she was in the playoffs. My favorite bit from her newest interview was that she said even if she lost she'd keep pluggin' along till the results came :hearts: New Jelena :hearts:

I don't think so. If you look closely you can see the Yonex logo on that top. Jelena was sponsored by them during 2004 and maybe part of 2005, but I'd venture to say that that pic is from 2004.

Looks like she switched form an nCode in January to a KFactor now? Perhaps she's being sponsored by Wilson?

I'm not sure whether to think there is a sponsorship deal there or not. In January she had the 'W' on her strings in a couple of her matches. From that poor quality photo in Fes, it's not really clear whether there's anything there or not. If Jelena is going to be making a good comeback though, Wilson would be smart to sign her.

A deal with Lacoste would be nice too. She seems to be wearing their stuff anyway. Jelena in some of Tati's stuff from the past = :drool:.

Of course playing, improving and winning are so much more important than racquet and clothing deals right now, but it's nice to dream into the future and imagine Jelena playing bigger tournaments like the other active players. :)

I don't like these pics for one reason, they don't give us a very good view of how Dokic looks compared to pics from Australia.

She looks really fit, the best we could expect given how she looked in December last year. Realistically, another 5kg would be ideal, but if she's not hampered by the extra weight then she shouldn't feel pressured to lose it. Fitness is not all aesthetic.
