AcesHigh Nov 30th, 2007, 03:33 AM I think it will be a new winner.... so that excludes Venus, Justine and Lindsay. Justine not playing betters her chances. @Sweet Cleopatra Nov 30th, 2007, 11:22 AM Masha ,, mashamaniac Nov 30th, 2007, 12:12 PM i surely say masha! but wasn't it better to make a poll other than asking ppl typing their choice?!! CJ07 Dec 1st, 2007, 03:07 AM Who knows. Henin could have another virus, Serena's knee could've permanently gone out, Venus's health could deteriorate, Sharapova's shoulder might need surgery and Jon might get Lindsay knocked up again. Or any of those players could be at their peak. Hugo24 Dec 1st, 2007, 03:13 AM Mauresmo -VSR- Dec 1st, 2007, 03:46 AM I think that Serena will want this more than anything to complete her collection. If not Serena, Venus wants her second gold medal! Highlandman Dec 1st, 2007, 08:45 AM Well, after seeing 0 matches from the contenders in 2008 yet, I can't say who will win or not :p I think it will be a Williams, Henin or maybe Sharapova. JolinA Dec 1st, 2007, 09:33 AM Doubles -- Chan/Chuang  robbie12 Dec 1st, 2007, 09:54 AM The thing I love about the Olympics is it's very unpredictable. There's something about it that throws up some surprise results (maybe more on the men's side than the women's). I enjoy the doubles, especially because there are a lot of scratch pairings because you have to play with someone from your country. Who for example, would have said Li/Sun would win gold in 2004 or Boogert/Oremans wining silver in 2000. At the moment Chan/Chuang would be favourites but there''s a long way to go till August! Ben. Dec 1st, 2007, 10:14 AM I think it will be Henin or either one of the williams sisters (hopefully vee ;)) that will win it. If those three are at the top of their game, then they'll be hard to stop for anyone. But you got some darkhorses like Lindsay who might spring a surprise or two. Plus Maria S has a good chance as well too. esquímaux Dec 1st, 2007, 10:25 AM Allez Amelie!!!! :bounce::bounce::bounce: Wayn77 Dec 1st, 2007, 10:27 AM Patty Schnyder - Switzerland :rocker2: esquímaux Dec 1st, 2007, 10:30 AM We want a poll!!! :( serenus_2k8 Dec 1st, 2007, 10:49 AM Vee / Ree :D | |
