* 'crying and shouting' liezel huber

* 'slappy hands' patty schnyder and 'bottle kicking hubby' rainer hoffman

* 'defaulted' anastasia rodionova

* someone else (mention the name + why!)

I'd go for rodionova: it doesn't happen every year that a player has to quit a match because of bad behaviour

On a career level, Patty Prevails easily. Its not just the non-handshakes like the one included here. Whereas A-Rod is in this poll for smashing a ball against a wall because of fan noise, the Suissie Smashed a liner into the stands a few years ago, because Dani won a key point on a dropshot of all things. :cuckoo: And in terms of Huber & dubs, the Cuckoo Clock is on that list of offenders too, for trying to nail Anna K once when they were both @ the net. (Too bad she missed).

If what the media reported about Cincy was true, that Rodionova intentionally struck a ball at fans who were rooting for the other player, I honestly don't understand how she's not in the lead. She purposely tried to harm, or at least frighten, members of the audience. This basically amounts to oncourt terrorism.

Also of note: Had the lucky shots comment NOT been made by Serena, but another player, it probably wouldn't have even half the votes it does. Conversely, had Serena been involved in any of the other incidents on this list, they'd probably have thirty or so more votes.

I agree about rodionova. the reason that she's not on top is probably that there's no movie (it's more spectacular to see it than to hear it). but I voted for her

about the lucky shots, you say that if another player would have said it ... well, I don't think any other player would dare say something like that about justine! it was the lamest excuse I've heard from her - ever

Well, only a Serena hater would call someone an "idiotic die-hard Serena fan", but I am a die-hard Serena fan and Justine hater. There's nothing wrong with that. You've obviously failed at your attempt to insult me or whatever your point was, because unfortunately for you, I don't bend to peer pressure. LOL, it may not be politically correct in your little tribal circle of friends to be a Serena fan and a Justine hater, but I couldn't care less what you think.

First of all, I don't care what most people would think was "sour". This is not a moral or ethical question. It's a fluff poll for people to answer individually and not what they think will be the majority opinion. It's my individual opinion that I thought it was "sour" of Justine to continue to tell lies for no reason. She knew Serena's thumb was injured and she lied about it. Why would Serena wear a bandage on her hand and not hit her best shot? Something must be wrong. It's the constant lying that bothers me about Justine. It was an unnecessary lie.

You use the phrase "comprehensively beaten", yet they went three sets. Intersting that you use the word "comprehensive". And, since they did go three sets maybe Justine did hit a few lucky shots. Tennis is about skill, but sometimes luck is involved in where the ball falls. However, we'll never really know, because Justine will never tell the truth about it, that's for certain.

I voted for Liezel "Ranking Number 4!!! 3 Grand Slam titles!!!" :smash: Huber. If you've seen how ridiculous she is in those Prince commercials, it ratchets up the annoyance factor when you see that completely bizarre Wimbledon clip.

There must be some bad blood leading up to this, but you'd think Petrova had murdered her family. :help:

Megabitchy Rodionova might be the worst, but with no clip, we can only speculate about her "oncourt terrorism." Didn't she spitefully nail Anna C with a ball during doubles around that time? Yet Anna just laughed, she didn't pull a Huber.

Serena's "lucky shots" is just run of the mill bad sportsmanship, Schnyder's slap handshake is funny, Rainer is a buffoon :silly: and Schnyder and Hantuchova are tour vets who see each other 48 weeks of the year so I'm sure it was no big deal.

If Serena had lost easily in 2 sets, yes, that would be unnecessary. But that did not happen. It went to 3, long sets. If I were playing an opponent who has bandages all around, and still gave me a great fight, I would be surprised too if he/she was injured.

So, you're saying it was a necessary lie?

It seems that you even confused your own self

There is no confusion. I'm not the one confused about how good Serena is on grass. One only has to look at how she came back to beat Daniela, with a sprained thumb and on one leg, and how she almost beat the No. 1 player at Wimby with only one hand. Which is why Justine's lie probably was necessary, because she didn't want people to think that Serena almost beat her on grass again being injured and while she's in tip top shape.

Come on Denise4925, we all know how you loathe Justine. It's fans like you which give Serena's fanbase a bad name. I might not like Serena, but at least I give her credit when it's due. You don't. No need for formality, please, call me Denise.

Yes, I do loathe Justine. Never said anything different. And, I think it's fans like you who give the Justine fanbase a bad name.

You're a liar if you say I don't give Justine credit when she wins. I've never discredited her wins. How can anyone discredit her this year? But, there is no denying that Justine does whatever she can to win. She has said it and so has Carlos. Just because she has had a great year this year, doesn't mean that she hasn't lied or cheated in the past. And, it doesn't mean that she does not use gamesmanship whenever she can. And, of course I dance on her grave when she loses. I can't stand her, just as people who can't stand Serena or Venus do. Justine is not above it, no matter how much you worship her and want everyone else to.

:wavey:

Remember, not only you can be nasty... but others can too.

:haha: I never said anything different. There is no question that anyone can dish it. The question is can you take it? Remember, I've had years of defending my faves against haters. You've only had a little taste of it. You should be happy that there are haters. That means your fave is winning. :)

Like I said, why did you reply to my post... again?

So, you're saying it was a necessary lie?

You're vision is just so.... narrow. You only look at "necessary" and not "unnecessary" - like that's the only word that's existed in the dictionary. Or maybe your understanding is of a 10-year old. What I said is that if Serena had lost in 2 easy sets, then yes, the "lie" was unnecessary (if that's what you consider it). So, if Serena has bandages all around, but fought Justine to the bitter end in 3 sets, there is doubt whether she's really injured or not. Maybe she had those taped as precautionary measures? So, saying "I didn't know she is injured" is nothing more than a normal, simple remark. What, do you expect her to say "I know she is injured... but since I'm merciful to Serena, I let her win a set"? This is tennis, not a charity show

There is no confusion. I'm not the one confused about how good Serena is on grass. One only has to look at how she came back to beat Daniela, with a sprained thumb and on one leg, and how she almost beat the No. 1 player at Wimby with only one hand.

If Daniela had been less sympathetic that time, she would have taken the innitiative to defeat Serena immediately. Instead, she didn't and paid the price for it.

Which is why Justine's lie probably was necessary, because she didn't want people to think that Serena almost beat her on grass again being injured and while she's in tip top shape.

Wait... didn't you say this in your last post?

She knew Serena's thumb was injured and she lied about it. Why would Serena wear a bandage on her hand and not hit her best shot? Something must be wrong. It's the constant lying that bothers me about Justine. It was an unnecessary lie.

Come on... make up your mind.

No need for formality, please, call me Denise.

Yes, I do loathe Justine. Never said anything different. And, I think it's fans like you who give the Justine fanbase a bad name.

OK Denise (if that's what you want me to call you)... if that's what you think, that's fine by me. But, you're talking to the mirror on this one. You say fans like me giving Justine a bad name, but reverse that, and it's the same to you. Fans like you too which give Serena a bad name.

See? When you give credit to a player for winning, you say "Good job, girl. Good luck in the next match". Not "Great game, but you lied in your post-match interview". That's not credit. That's a comment with some lemon juice sprinkled over it. You are discrediting the player's achievement just because you don't like her. Digging up her past, throwing some nasty things inside. Sigh... but then, it's a Serena fan, so no surprises here

:haha: I never said anything different. There is no question that anyone can dish it. The question is can you take it? Remember, I've had years of defending my faves against haters. You've only had a little taste of it. You should be happy that there are haters. That means your fave is winning. :)

Yup, my fave is winning. And I don't mind defending my fave to the bitter end when "green eyed monsters" coming out from their hiding places giving their vicious sermons about Justine.

And you think you have years defending your faves against haters? I do too... it doesn't mean I have little of it just because I only joined 2 years ago. My support for Justine had lasted way longer than that.

OK, that's fine by me. It's a miracle if you and I can ever get along. Well, tough luck, because that's life. Therefore, there's always the "Ignore" button....

Let me see... maybe I should put you inside my "cooler" 1st until the day I say you're totally chilled. Until then... cheerio! :wavey:

Are you an infant? Replying to a post to set the record straight is par for the course on this board. It's a message board, that's what happens. It's not peer pressure. :weirdo:

Conversely, had Serena been involved in any of the other incidents on this list, they'd probably have thirty or so more votes.

agreed...had this been said by jh at miami when serena won there would be man agreement...well that's life ne?

Well that was the first time I've seen that video of huber and there was no need for her to shout like that at Nadia's apology. If I was nadia i'd have shouted back next time I'll do it twice as bloody hard :p

The first time I've seen this one too. Yeah that was totally bitchy at how she screamed at Nadia. What a drama queen. :( :( :fiery:

Has to be Leizel. The woman is just plain rude and I am not talking about the Wimbledon fiasco but her antics at the US Open this year. Her behaviour during a mixed doubles match with Jamie Murray was pathetic for an experienced veteran like herself :o Yelling at the crowd to shut up, screaming in delight when her opponents would make an error, complaing about this, that and the other

Oh please. Stop playing the 'Serena is so misunderstood' card. It really is getting old. I can only imagine the angry, vitriolic posts that would be directed towards Justine had she made such a comment. Yourself, DD, Doniwhatever and foulmouth Denise would have been heading the charge.

Having said that, I really don't think it even belongs with the other incidents here.

LMAO that's rich....notice how i didn't start anything and yet you blame me...had jh said that only the serena fans would be in uproar and everyone else that hates serena would side with jh...if not then why were there no comments about jh saying at wimby that she didn't think serena was injured...she was like a mummy for crying out loud but yet that was no sign of disrespect...pfft..typical of most serena haters :o

Maybe because they think it's normal behavior for someone in that situation (sometimes people do overreact that way because they're upset about what happened to them).

exactly, Liezel exagerated, but she was in pain.

Serena was just a bad loser on three occasions and someone like her should give the good example.

First, it wasn't just the bandages, it was the fact that Serena was not hitting two-handed backhands at all. That should have been one clue. Secondly, I don't expect her to say anything, much less lie. There was no need for Justine to let her win anything. Serena took a set off her, injured and all. Justine is the last person a great champion like Serena needs charity from.

If Daniela had been less sympathetic that time, she would have taken the innitiative to defeat Serena immediately. Instead, she didn't and paid the price for it.
