it's not my priority, but hers, because it's her job

It used to be that but I kinda grew out of it. ;)
Tactics, strategy, mind-games ....

The matches, but I want to see my favorite players do well too. Couldn't care less about their offcourt lives as long as they are happy.

With the men, it's pretty much only #1.
With the women, it's 1 and 4, mostly, with a little of 2 & 3.
I have to admit it's nice that my current fave is so easy on the eyes, so I care about fashion more than when my faves were Navritalova, McNeil or Graff.

H2Hs, stats, and deciphering strategies and seeing the different techniques players have on their form, :hearts:

That my favorite and other players beat the player(s) I hate most

first option of course

Probably a bit of all.
Certainly #1, that's the most important plus modified #4. I wish my faves to beat everyone, not only the players I don't like. I don't care that much about the players I don't like tbh.
Possibly #3, it's not the reason why I watch tennis but I like when Hantuchova or any other girl (which is rare) wears some nice-looking dresses at tournament parties. I am a young heterosexual man afterall. :p I couldn't care less about on-court outfits though. If Daniela wore the same outfit throughout the whole career I wouldn't mind. On the court it's about performance, not fashion, at least for me.
As for #2, I really hate tabloid stuff, so scandals or personal relationships don't interest me at all, I don't feel like it's my business. That's why Hingis' coke affair means pretty much nothing to me, beside the fact that tennis lost one of its icons.
On the other hand I like to know some things about the players I support. For example what they like aside playing tennis, their favourite music, movie, city, food etc. What they are interested in and such. Nothing too intrusive I believe.
In mens tennis it's only #1. I am not too bothered when my faves lose, not even when they lose to players I don't like.

It's all about my favourite beating the other players.

Of course I love wathcing tennis (mainly my favs) but Im very much into the bussiness side of things (fashion, endorsments, fame, money and what they do off court to boost their future careers) I love the fact that Masha has interests outside and is a cross over celebrity. And of cource I love seeing her win as many maches as possible.
