wow why go to such efforts to offend Justine, I like Serena but there are a tonne of pictures you could post in reference to her great ''fashion sense'' :p

I thought it was actually a really nice interview. The fashion aspect was such a small part of it.

just finished watching it. Yes, she did mention fashion but just a small part whilst the artist putting make up on her.

It was a rather touching interview. She talked very honestly of her family, the end of her relationship with PY and very touching part about her mother. Her mother was actually concerned that Justine was going to sacrify too much for nothing. She should be smiling from above if she sees what Justine has achieved in the sport.

By the way, Justine was a bloody good football playeras as a kid!! They showed a clip of her playing in a boys' team passing them with finess!

Great piece.
Really showed her as human yet also a champion.
Shame the BBC website has chosen to show such unrepresentative clips, though hopefully they'll offer the rest now it's been broadcast.

Great interview I thought. There was so little about fashion in it... the BBC were very misleading with their trailer.

So we've got between 3 and 5 years left of Justine... better make the most of it then! :)

Some people try to ridicule Justine, no matter what.
This is just another example.
Even before seeing the interview loads of nonsense gets posted.
Oh well, if that's what makes their life happy...

It was a VERY nice interview, indeed. :worship:

What a great film, really emotional, one thing I do admire and like about Justine is how humble and normal she is, and she was very open, I love seeing stuff like this on the players, you really get to know them better :)

For people who missed it, it will be on the PiM site tomorrow.
Also checkout "Justine Une Star Une Femme", a 2h26 show completely dedicated to Justine, best part are the private family movies near the end of the show, very moving.

Strange how the Ju haters keep on banging on Ju's fashion sense.
I think she always dresses practically and decent, at least she does not HURT the eyes like Serena's latest pink babydoll dress or similar monstrosities.

Fabulous interview. Although I had heard her say in various interviews most of what she said in this particular one, it was nice to see her happy.

The only bit I didn't like was the 'I'm going to play for another 3-5 years'. Come on Justine, you know you want to go on til you're 35 at least!

I enjoyed the interview as women's tennis gets so little coverage in the UK media. Justine's successful year has meant she's got a bit more respect which is good. Why do they ALWAYS have to knock on about fashion though to sportswomen? Do we get beauty tips from Roger Federer? (OK, so we probably do from David Beckham!)
I was interested that she spoke a little about her ex-husband, but a little surprised they didn't ask her more about Wimbledon as here in the UK that is the ONLY tournament that the media really pay attention to.

They were both fabulous programmes and anyone who is a fan of Justine should be very proud of her!

She certainly is a great no. 1 and representative of woman's tennis. As the professional world say "she is highly respected" :worship: (which is something everyone strives for in life, to be respected and this woman has it bucketloads). What helps is that she gives respect to others too. A very mature woman at the age of 25.

I agree, Justine has the most depth, intellect, grace and class of any WTA player in the last decade. After the one-dimensional and boring Serena, it is so refreshing to see someone who is not arrogant and can actually use her brain.
Justine will join Evert, Martina Navrat and Steffi in the list of all time great champions for sure. And it's all because she hit lots of LUCKY SHOTS.

Great interview!

Henin's demeanor is the same in all interviews. Very calm and peaceful. She's not trying to be someone she's not.

I think its great she's at a place in her life that she can openly talk about her personal life without feeling regret. She's grown into quite a mature and responsible woman, and all before our eyes!

Typical BBC. Spend around 30 minutes going on about the really important football matches coming up and that have been, yet the guys in the studio barely have two words to say about Henin :o

Nice interview by Gabby, shame that the two guys didn't actually say much about her, except state the obvious, i.e. the sacrifices she has made

From Amanda Farnsworth - Editor

"Many of you said how much you enjoyed the Justine Henin interview and I must say it's probably my favourite interview of the entire series because it was such a surprise to be given so much time with her, and for her to be so very honest about her life. She came across as a very genuine and thoughtful woman who has been through a lot of difficulties in her life and has now come to terms with it all."
