That's what ATP Player Franz Stauder took recently

http://www.itftennis.com/antidoping/news/pressrelease.asp?articleid=17987

and was forced to give back his Points & Money.

Not too much a big deal.

Could Martina Hingis suffer the same treatment, despite
announcing she quits the Tour from her OWN decision ?

Cannabinoids are only prohibited, but not assigned a classification (see S8) whereas cocaine is classified as a stimulant under S6 (as is methamphetamine). In other words, the WADA Code doesn't imply any advantage is gained from cannabis, but does for cocaine. So no, the 2 recent 2 month pot suspensions (Stauder and Melo http://www.itftennis.com/antidoping) don't affect Marti's case.

So if cocaine is worst, she might well be forced to give back her prize
money and points since Wimbledon, and show up at the Tribunal ?

That could explain why she didn't make much efforts in her latest
Tournaments, knowing it was most probably pending

The WTA knew nothing... My F...:fiery:

I really don't think cocaine is going to help anybody's tennis game...

yeah to be honest, weed is pretty harmless, not like coke.

actually she got to know during mid-september, most likely after Beijing.
after which she pull out from Stuggart and Zurich, most likely because of this issue.

They would not ask her to return any prize money until she is proven guilty in Tribunal.
Technically she yas yet to be proven guilty, and in most cases this news won't even be announce to the public.

hingis chose to come out herself even before proven guilty. If she didn't, this case might never ever be known to the public.
