Lindsay Davenport: 2008 Year End RankingAndrew.. Nov 3rd, 2007, 02:43 AM Predict Lindsay's 2008 year end singles ranking. SIN DIOS NI LEY Nov 3rd, 2007, 02:58 AM top 15 She is not gonna play a full schedule , that's why LudwigDvorak Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:04 AM Lindsay is #106 with a Tier III title, Tier II semifinal, and Tier III semifinal as of now, and would be #73 if she wins Quebec City. Top 10 is possible if she does well in the big events, but I highly doubt anything more than #9 or so unless she wins a slam ( ). But, top 15, definitely. azza Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:07 AM retired due to Ecstacy use. Havok Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:10 AM 11-15 due to a restricted schedule. LindsayRulz Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:10 AM Top 15. BuTtErFrEnA Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:11 AM hmm in my mind the top 5 will sort itself out and Lindsay will be in it :) Sally Struthers Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:11 AM top 5 if she plays enough. Top 10 with a semi-limited schedule. hurricanejeanne Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:16 AM 11-15 if she plays a decent schedule with decent results. RJWCapriati Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:35 AM 6-10 IanRadi Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:40 AM I'm trust in Lindsay and I know she will be a top 5. PatrickRyan Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:41 AM #15 njnetswill Nov 3rd, 2007, 04:03 AM I say bottom part of top 10, with strong GS results and a title in Indian Wells. :p Derek. Nov 3rd, 2007, 04:09 AM Top 15 due to her most likely having a limited schedule. Serenidad. Nov 3rd, 2007, 04:50 AM 26. Take it or leave it. Renalicious Nov 3rd, 2007, 09:44 AM 27. Vlad Tepes Nov 3rd, 2007, 10:25 AM She certanly can reach the top 10, even with a limited schedule, I mean she'll almost be top 70 if she wins Quebec and that's with only 2 crappy titles and a tier II SF. Lindsay will have strong results at the slams (if she avoids the likes of Justine in the first rounds), unlike many other players in the top 20, so I can see her somewhere in the top 8 by year end :) Ben. Nov 3rd, 2007, 10:39 AM I see her at least around in the top 16-20 for now (but top 10 or 5 is not impossible though). Highlandman Nov 3rd, 2007, 10:43 AM I think something like 11-15, I dont think she will play more than 11-14 tournaments. justine schnyder Nov 3rd, 2007, 11:17 AM I think 11-15 Dexter Nov 3rd, 2007, 11:20 AM 16-20. She won't play enough tournaments to be ranked higher. vettipooh Nov 3rd, 2007, 12:08 PM As long as she's not on baby #2 by end of next summer, I would say 6-10. MH0861 Nov 3rd, 2007, 12:39 PM #6. :hearts: She finished 2006 at #25 with just two slam QFs, a Tier I 4R, a Tier II final, a Tier II SF, a Tier II QF and a Tier III SF. She'll do much more than that in 2008 IMO and will finish Top 10. roxi Nov 3rd, 2007, 02:14 PM Top 10 for sure!!! With good draws at Grand Slams Top 5!!! Go Lindz!!! The Daviator Nov 3rd, 2007, 02:21 PM Serena is top 5 with 11 tournaments, granted Lindsay would do very well to win a GS next year, but if she makes a couple of Slam QFs, and a Tier I final here and there, plus other good results at some smaller events, then she'll definitely be top 10. Expat Nov 3rd, 2007, 03:35 PM #6. :hearts: She finished 2006 at #25 with just two slam QFs, a Tier I 4R, a Tier II final, a Tier II SF, a Tier II QF and a Tier III SF. She'll do much more than that in 2008 IMO and will finish Top 10. she played only 7 tournos and i was wondering how the hell did she end up ranked 25 from no 1 the previous year didnt watch 2006 at all since vee & ree were injured most of the year | |
