i like my own nuts

Pistachios are the best, salted, unshelled peanuts are second.

At the Charleston tournament, a vendor sells coated nuts. These are delicious. They are coated with something like a liquid brown sugar mixture that dries as a crunchy coating on the nuts. They have almonds, pecans, and cashews. They are sold in a little paper cone.

You can watch him make them there... he has sort of a flat spinner with the topping in it spinning around, and he puts the nuts in there, and they get coated. Then I think they have to dry for a while, and maybe go back in for another coating.

I've spent the months since Charleston looking for something like these to buy, and trying different things, but nothing has been the same.

Can't eat any of them because I'll die :lol: So I'll say that I like none of them!
