I don't know, I've never stopped admiring my reflection in the water long enough to contemplate the question.

In my opinion we are all a bit of a Narcissist, especially in this world and this time we are living in and sometimes its not even about looks. I think being somewhat vain is good, whats wrong with loving yourself? Nothing!!! The thing I don't understand is why rub it in people faces and why act all superior, and ofcorse as Carly Simon told us in that old classic we have all heard there are limits to being vain, by the way that reminds me does Cator still post on this board?:)

Humans are social creatures, we all have a need to be excepted. That's why we care about how we look, how the outside world perceives us.

Sometimes I spend ages just looking at myself in the mirror, it's good for making you feel good about yourself. But it's worth remembering that narcissism simply refers to an extreme self obsession and isn't necessarily linked to beauty - some narcissists are actually obsessed by how ugly they are.
