Her fans told she'll win one in 2005 (she's only 17!), then 2006 (she's only 18!), now 2007 (she's only 19!) slams played. When will she win her first one? Or will she never win one as some predict?

her problem that in her best she never win over rank 1 , that should happen to take a GS , if you look at the grand slam winners they all have a certain best performance which no one can beat them .Anna doesn't have that .

How will getting mentally stronger help when she is brutally forced to run from side to side (slow motion) by Venus?

So, what she needs? Faster legs? Sharapova is slow too, and was able to win GS...I think Ana has a bigger potential than 100% defensive Jelena.

Letīs wait and see. I donīt think itīs good to give her praise for grand slam wins she havenīt won yet.
If she wins one, you can give her credit for that.

What has Jankovic to do with it? I donīt get it, why people must always bring Jelena in the game if the issue is Ana and via versa.

I still say Elena D is the best player without a slam.

None of her fans said she would win one in 2005. She'll win her first slam in the next 2-3 years.

Ana ranking- 6 Elena Ranking-15... Ana slam results this year- 3 rd, F, SF and 4rd. Elena slam resukts this year- 3x3rd and one 4rd...I'd die for Elena. But its clear that Ana is far better.

Does a grand slam champ lose to someone like Rezai or Radwanska?

Anyway, I'm sure some of the greatest players of all time had some bad losses at the age of NINETEEN!!!!

God.

She'll win a slam. A draw will open up somewhere, and she'll take advantage. If she doesn't have to face Justine or the sisters, she's pretty much set to go.

What are you smoking, Dex? You know as well as I that one never recovers from a loss to the likes of Yan. A loss like that at 19 stays with one for ever and ever. :suckage:
