Jul 14th, 2002, 09:21 AM
vera zvonareva (RUS)

myriam casanova (SUI)

two players with a future. but can they get their first titles today?

I think they will both win. If Casanova plays aggressive like she normally does then she has the game to defeat Sanchez. I think Sanchez is really motivated to win this title but I go for Casanova to win the title. Zvonareva has also the game to defeat Diaz-Oliva, so I think she will also win the title.

Both will win..:D !!!

Myriam will be extra motivated b'coz she's facing someone so good like ASV.. and she wants to be in top 100

should have been 4 :(
Sveta and Gisela should have been in Casablanca final.

Vera has the better chance to win as she is playing a player ranked lower than her.
Myriam is playing a former #1 and a 4 time SLAM winner so could get nervous.

I hope both can pull it off as it will be good for the future.

Myriam will be the youngest player in the Top 100 on Monday.

since we've got our expert tbg here:
myriam was born in 1985. vera as well? or will she turn 18 this year?

Vera was born in Sep 1984 and is the youngest in top 100 for now
Myriam is the only one born in 1985 or later so far.
