REUTERS - Australian no 1, Jelena Dokic is on the lookout for a doubles partner next year after Nicole Arenot announced her immediate retirement from the FWTT Tour.

Dokic, currently in New York, was told of the retirement by Arenot and fellow Australian, Marteena Huubere.

'I know what it's like to lose enthusiasm for the game. I hope she will re-consider but I understand and accept her decision. Somethings are just more important for others and I wish Nicole all the best, we still keep in contact' said Dokic is a press conference yesterday.

Dokic is looking for a partner to team up regularly with next year. 'I'd like someone who's willing to work hard and we'll have a good time' said Dokic.

Anyone interested?

Jelena,

Larissa Liashenko is also looking for a partner.

I'm commited in Auckland, Canberra and Auz Open.

I don't think you are commited to the first two but we could start at the Australian! After that, we could commit to the same tournament. Larissa is a hard worker. When she is on the practice court, it's to hit balls and...to have fun sometimes!!! For you to make a good decision, here is how Larissa plays.

She is 6'3, therefore she has great reach. Her 1st serve is flat and around the 110MPH. 2nd serve with a lot of kick around the 80MPH. Her best shot is her backhand but is very consistant from the forehand. In doubles, she can serve and volley and she cuts the net very well.

What do you think???

Jelena has heard a lot about Larissa from her sister, Daniela.

Jelena wonders if Larissa has MSN Messenger or something where they could communicate?

Thanks

Anjelica is looking for a partner in Sarasota and Strasbourg... but since you're not playing either of those, you're really no help to her

Jelena,

I accept! I'm very happy about playing with you! We could start in AUZ OPEN and after that, I will commit to the same tournament as you. In the first two tournament s I'm playing in this year, I won't play doubles. I will wait for you!!!

Actually Larissa, Jelena had asked Regla earlier and they plan to play most tournaments.

But, Jelena would still love to play some events with Larissa.
