Gasp, Elena will be #2 in Britain. Julie Pullin deservedly stays #1 for now.
Well done Elena but I wanted Kelly Liggan to win the final.

Well Done! I've got to admit, i didn't know what she looked like before wimbledon, but I saw her play on Court. 2.[I was there!] yeah she lost, but it was pretty close and she's a great hope for British women's tennis! [I've said that before but it's true!]keep it up! [impressive serve btw]

Thanks for all the support guys - she will rise to appx 175 in the world to become British no. 2 - said after the match that her goal is to become British no. 1 - let's hope she can get the results to justify this!!!

is there any site at all which tells u about particular players playing ITFs?

acemantennis does each tournament separately (which is vvvvvvv good), but i don't fancy going through each tournament to see how each particular player i fancy looking at has done.

and YAY elena.

Don't know of any site like this, but if anyone else does, let me know as it will help with my site ;-)

By the way if anyone has any photos/videos/anything on Elena please let me know I would be more than happy to buy from you!!!

I think Elena is a real prospect, she hits the ball much better than Julie Pullin, and has a serve which is bettered by only a few of the world's top players. She is only young so has time on her side - I would like to see her well inside the top 75 by Wimbledon next year!
