Thats great news for a Brit girl. Any idea of ranking jumps if she wins/come up short in final?

um is this tournament even way ranked lower than an itf? must be if her opponent is Kelly Liggan

kelly is ranked about 280 i think. Balyl wil jump to about 180 or so, as she defends quarter-final points from here last year .

Go Ireland's Kelly Liggan. Take out Elena B!
I like Elena but I think her swearing at Lucie Ahl was unprofessional and childish in the quarter fnals. Could you imagine the comments on this board if a top player did that? I don't mind swearing at yourself in frustration but at your opponent

yeah its unlike bally.

both r so competitive though, not hugely surprised.

Well done Elena! It feels very strange to have a good british female but I'm liking it.

Hopefully she'll reach the US Open and maybe even a victory there (or am I asking too much??)

GO ELENA :bounce:

She's a very nice girl and she looks great off court IMO.
She looks cool with her sunglasses.
