I am just wondering with regards to their coverage of the US Open this year, will they be showing the night matches live? I want to know if I have to suscribe to Sky Sports or not as they always show the night matches live. Cheers :wavey:

usually Sky Sports gets the bigger matches and Eurosport show the rest. Not 100% sure though about night matches. During the first week they would usually show matches that are still being played during the night from the other courts.

ES usually have tons of coverage of slams so I wouldn't really worry.

Sky Sports calls the shot's for USO.

Eurosport's New York coverage is pretty second-rate: highlights package and odd delayed match here and there. The rest of the year Eurosport rules tennis coverage (including RG and AO).

I take out a temporary Sky Sports subscription for USO - and then dump it after the final.

I do the same. It's worth it for Sky's multiscreen option so you can choose your match.

multiscreen !!

one of the greatest inventions known to mankind ...

like Wimbledon - 5 matches showing live simultaneously: make your choice and hit the red button.
