Got to hope Kirilenko loses form and she finds a way to figure out how to beat Nadia on a hard court first... ;) Nice to see her get the "cakewalk" draw for once, god knows she deserves it.

The last 2 years the Indian Wells winner has won the title...

I think I would cry. I will cry if she even manages to make it to the Quarters... lmao. J/K. Let's hope this does help her though.

Well her draw is pretty good. No Serena for once.

I think if she can find some form, who knows what might happen in that 3rd Quarter.

If she can find some good form and control the mental aspect (no Williams sister is a plus in this department), she could easily make the Semifinals.

Daniela fans finally got a great draw for her. Congrats guys!

Other than the dangerous floaters (Molik and Kirilenko) she couldn't have hoped for anything better.

Yeh filling out my bracket she has a great shot, and wouldn't surprise me if she made the semis!

Opportunity of her life to make GS Semis for once in her career.

Daniela will win the US Open 2007 - No-She-Will-Not :o

Round of 16 - I would say so

Quarters - Maybe

Semi - Suppose if she was in best shape ever

Final - If this is the tournament of her life

Winner - No :o

Yet she has a much better record on hardcourts against her prospective qf opponents (Kuznetsova/Hingis) than Petrova (who she's only ever beaten on clay)... ;)

For once she has a good draw, if she's able to play at a good level, she's going to make the QF. :)
Kuznetsova might be tough for her, she lost to her quite easily, in their recent meetings (except that IW final - but Sveta has become a disaster in finals).

I don't know...
She has a potential fourth round match against Petrova. Daniela has never even come close to beating Nadia on a hard court. Anyways, best of luck to her.

Did they rename the US Open to Indian Wells of the East!? :haha:

she wont beat petrova/kuznetsova/vaidisova/chakvetadze/sharapova all of whom are in her half

Hopefully she won't have to play Szavay...

Well, she won't get really far if she doesn't improve her play. :help:

It's ok. Bartoli played some suck-ass tennis before her Wimbledon run.

Actually, Bartoli had a stellar grass court season.

I'd rather she get it out of the way now. She lost her first match in the tournament before the Aussie and ended up losing to Kim who always beats her, she lost 1R in Tokyo which kick-started her great run of tournaments and she followed up losing 1R in Berlin with a semifinal run in Rome. Shame though, this draw was about as nice as she would ever get at winning another title.

Sadly, I am not as confident since she lost to Szavy either.

No I meant her ugly patch at the start of the year. Marion's 2007 start was very bad until Prague/French Open 4RD.

Losses:

LLAGOSTERA VIVES (World #410) L 6-2 3-1 ret.

DOMINGUEZ LINO (#69) L 6-3 6-2

DANIILIDOU (#47) L 6-0 6-4

DUSHEVINA (#101) L 7-6(5) 2-6 6-4

SCHRUFF (#83) L 6-0 6-4

GRANVILLE (#66) L 7-5 4-6 6-0

SUCHA (#98) L 4-6 6-3 6-3

BREMOND (#39) L 6-0 6-2

FEDAK (#82) L 7-6(2) 6-2

AZARENKA (#94) L 6-0 7-5

LOIT (#56) L 7-5 6-4

but she's still Wimbledon finalist. :woohoo:

Well it's nice to be optimistic, but it's better to be realistic. ;)

Daniela has the ability to: Depending on the day, she can beat anyone or she can lose to any player (e.g.: M. Gloria, quebec 2003), that´s totally up to her.
