BABY JUSTINE: Tennis fan Dauna Papakiryokos gave birth to a baby girl Sunday evening after going into labour at the Rogers Cup.

Dauna and husband Eli said if Justine Henin of Belgium defeated Serbia's Jelena Jankovic for the singles title Sunday, they would name the baby Justine.

Henin won the title 7-6 (3), 7-5.

 Weird.

That's so adorable.
I can only hope the child has the cute laughter of Henin that has the ability to light up a room.

That's sweet, and to be honest quite normal to name a baby after an event in the day.

I adopted a black cat who wandered to me during the French Open of 2OO3 and named it Serena! Sadly for me, not the cat, when I took "Serena" to the vet for shots, they told me it was a male. So I had to scrap the name. Too bad, Serena is the perfect name for a (female) black cat!

Well, given its saggy gut (which I thought connoted a female, but which is actually an indication of a male cat fixed poorly) and its dainty features, apart from its hugely long body and legs, I opted for another name. Jelena was only a blip on the sceen then, as she is now. If I'm going to name an animal after a tennis player, it will be an all-time great. Even though my Cadillac is Marion. But making a Wimbledon final is different!

They were probably not sure what is the sex of the baby...so the name suited very well. Poor girl she will come up midget size and no breasts at all. but hey maybe it will become popular and sexy by the time she develops into boy..i mean girl.
