When Flavia was top seed for Zurich qualifying, she retired after losing her first set agaist Srebotnik in the last round of qualifying, after numerous players pulled out causing LL spots to open up.

So we may see her again in the tournament.

Bad luck for Cibulkova, but she has a great chance to win her first round match against Loit. Szavay, on the other hand, drew a more difficult first round opponent with Stosur (although she hasn't played since Wimbledon).
