Both have not played since wimbledon, who thinks that they will play?
Will Serena & Vaidisova play the open?lanykid87 Aug 17th, 2007, 07:50 PM Both have not played since wimbledon, who thinks that they will play? LindsayRulz Aug 17th, 2007, 07:51 PM Both will play. thetennisutopian Aug 17th, 2007, 07:55 PM They will definitely play. Serena is a fighter and even if her thumb is still a big problem she will be there. Vaidisova has been like this the whole year so she'll be there. Sexysova Aug 17th, 2007, 07:55 PM Alex Kodat(Nicole's coach) said that she'll play USO for 100%.. :worship: really doesn't matter about Serena  Bruno71 Aug 17th, 2007, 07:55 PM Both concentrate mostly on slams, so yes, they should both be there. jonny84 Aug 17th, 2007, 08:00 PM Hopefully they will still play. They have rested, so might not be in match practice, but that doesnt bother Serena. faboozadoo15 Aug 17th, 2007, 08:02 PM I have a feeling Serena won't. lanykid87 Aug 17th, 2007, 08:13 PM Ted Robinson said on espn that it would be hard to imagine vaidisova playing the open...but i guess he doesnt have all the facts.. Tennace Aug 17th, 2007, 08:14 PM Nicole has already stated she will play, so unless somethign strange happens, she is going to play :) Serena Im not really sure if she's healthy or not. jazar Aug 17th, 2007, 08:15 PM with any luck no hurricanejeanne Aug 17th, 2007, 08:21 PM Alex Kodat(Nicole's coach) said that she'll play USO for 100%.. :worship: really doesn't matter about Serena  Yay for Nicole to be playing. I just hope she's ready. I think Serena will show up, she may not be 100% ready but she'll give it a try. I hope they're both ready. frontier Aug 17th, 2007, 08:32 PM Alex Kodat(Nicole's coach) said that she'll play USO for 100%.. :worship: really doesn't matter about Serena :devil:You think the tournament organisers are worried about Nicole showing up:rolleyes: they worry because Serena is where the money is in USA,even on this board Nicole is hardly mentioned thats how popular she is.They would rather have an injured Serena than a healthy Nicole at the Open. Rod the Bama Aug 17th, 2007, 09:06 PM I also think that both of the ladies will play, which i hope will happen. lanykid87 Aug 17th, 2007, 09:35 PM hopefully both play! In The Zone Aug 17th, 2007, 09:38 PM Serena will show up. She almost beat the # 1 player with one hand. She'll show up and get beaten, clawing her way into the Open til the end. Thanx4nothin Aug 17th, 2007, 10:45 PM with any luck no  Yes, because all we need in women's tennis right now is a depleted field, that would definitely put an end to all the bad matches in the slams. :tape: Tennace Aug 17th, 2007, 10:47 PM You think the tournament organisers are worried about Nicole showing up:rolleyes: they worry because Serena is where the money is in USA,even on this board Nicole is hardly mentioned thats how popular she is.They would rather have an injured Serena than a healthy Nicole at the Open. She's only played 4 tournaments since Miami, so there really shouldnt be much talk about her :o Volcana Aug 18th, 2007, 12:00 AM If Serena can't hold the racket when the ball hits it, she's not going to play. Craigy Aug 18th, 2007, 12:03 AM with any luck no Oh god, this thing is back? :vomit: Shvedbarilescu Aug 18th, 2007, 01:46 AM I think they will both play. But to what standard is anybody's guess. Personally I don't expect to see either player in the last eight. serenaforever Aug 18th, 2007, 03:36 AM both will play serenaforever Aug 18th, 2007, 03:37 AM Oh god, this thing is back? :vomit: I thought we got rid of it? heytennis Aug 18th, 2007, 03:38 AM I think they both will. We have seen many players this year play slams when they aren't 100%. (Hingis, Golovin, Sharapova, Serena etc) RJWCapriati Aug 18th, 2007, 04:04 AM Both will play sweetpeas Aug 18th, 2007, 04:08 AM You think the tournament organisers are worried about Nicole showing up they worry because Serena is where the money is in USA,even on this board Nicole is hardly mentioned thats how popular she is.They would rather have an injured Serena than a healthy Nicole at the Open.
