Victoria AZARENKA: At only 18 y.o, Victoria is already breaking the Top 40! The belaruusian teenage keeps improving this year while playing major event. Last week, she reached the QF at Los Angeles Tier II $600K falling to 2nd seed/n3 Jankovic.

TOP 10:
Ana IVANOVIC n4 (+1): New career-high; the Serbian teenager continues her assault up the ranks after winning her fourth Tour singles title at Los Angeles Tier II $600K ousting 2nd seed/n3 and national rival Jankovic en route and 4th seed/n9 Petrova in final.

TOP 20:
Venus WILLIAMS n13 (+1), Dinara SAFINA n14 (+1), Nicole Vaidisova n15 (+1) and Patty Schnyder n16 (+1): All of these girls are up one spot due to Dementieva slump (she lost her 2006 Los Angeles points as winner).

TOP 50:
Gisela DULKO n49 (+9): With a 3rd rd at Los Angeles Tier II $600k, pretty Gisela in back to the TOP 50. She fall to back in form n35 Kirilenko.

TOP 100:
Olga GOVORTSOVA n66 (+7): New career-high for Olga. She is one of the biggest progression of the year. She finished 2006 out of the TOP 300, she's now a TOP 70 player with amazing Win/Loss statistics at 57/18. As Top seed in the qualies at Los Angeles $600K, she easaly qualified before overpowering n46 Vakulenko. Then she lost to solid 1"th seed/n20 Bammer.

TOP 150:
Yuliana FEDAK n109 (+19): The road to her career-high (n63 one year ago) is still long but Youliana is the best TOP 150 progression. In the qualies she upsetted 12th seed/n116 Johansson and 2nd seed/n72 Shvedova before ousting 14th seed/n23 Alona Bondarenko. Talented n34 Krajicek was too strong ant stopped her in the 2nd rd.

TOP 200:
Olivia SANCHEZ n185 (+13): Olivia is the best TOP 200 progression after winning her 1rts ITF title of the year out of 4 at Vigo $25K. She ousted Top seed/n145 Zahlavova Strykova in SF and won the title without playing due to 2nd seed/n180 Erakovic's withdrawal in final.
