Which of these players have wasted her talent most so far?HammerGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 12:12 AM Which of these players have wasted her talent most so far? pcrtennis Aug 17th, 2007, 12:13 AM which players? I'd say Shuai Peng. saint2 Aug 17th, 2007, 12:16 AM Wich players? @danieln1 Aug 17th, 2007, 12:17 AM Dokic, Kournikova Just Do It Aug 17th, 2007, 12:19 AM Out of those Mirza. DownTheLine21 Aug 17th, 2007, 12:20 AM Out of these players, I would pick Kirilenko. When she first burst onto the scene in 2004/2005, I expected her to accomplish much more than she has. She's still young (20 yrs.) and is currently experiencing a "return to form," so perhaps she will be a late bloomer. HammerGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 12:21 AM I chose 10 random names.. Plz don't mention others here. go hingis Aug 17th, 2007, 12:39 AM I voted Safina, it took her a while to take the tour seriously. ZeroSOFInfinity Aug 17th, 2007, 01:32 AM I chose 10 random names.. Plz don't mention others here. :tape: :tape: :tape: Wiggly Aug 17th, 2007, 01:33 AM Vaidisova is 18 or something. :tape: I will say Daniela and Maria. iPatty Aug 17th, 2007, 01:43 AM patty and daniela. :sobbing: if only tennis didn't involve using your brain. IanRadi Aug 17th, 2007, 02:24 AM Kirilenko is now taking advantage of her tennis. woosey Aug 17th, 2007, 04:12 AM alexus jones? Mightymirza Aug 17th, 2007, 04:25 AM mirza..Esp last year :tape: but I guess its been a process for her! LindsayRulz Aug 17th, 2007, 04:36 AM Hantuchova and Schnyder. Apoorv Aug 17th, 2007, 05:38 AM Sania's last year was horrible. Also plagued by injuries. I have voted for her. Hashim. Aug 17th, 2007, 05:48 AM dani and patty  thetennisutopian Aug 17th, 2007, 06:11 AM Definitely Dani and Patty. For me though, Patty runs ahead of Dani just by a nose. Sassy-Na Aug 17th, 2007, 06:19 AM na li, if she didnt "disappear" on tour for 3 years :o but still good for her to finish her uni degree :p lympyisthebest Aug 17th, 2007, 06:45 AM I wanted to vote Hantuchova but voted Schnyder insead since she's been on the tour a bit longer than Daniela. Modiac. Aug 17th, 2007, 06:48 AM Shuai Peng :o thetennisutopian Aug 17th, 2007, 06:51 AM I wanted to vote Hantuchova but voted Schnyder insead since she's been on the tour a bit longer than Daniela. That's exactly why I went with Patty. Derek. Aug 17th, 2007, 06:58 AM Hantuchova and Schnyder. :( Shvedbarilescu Aug 17th, 2007, 07:21 AM I chose 10 random names. I suspected as much. stefi62 Aug 17th, 2007, 07:25 AM Kirilenko and on another level, Patty Schnyder. HammerGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 07:42 AM I suspected as much. :tape: :tape: :tape: Vaidisova is 18 or something. :tape: I will say Daniela and Maria. Why is this message board full of moaners? This is the poll I created, if you don't like it don't read and don't contribute. Go and make your own poll. Thanx4nothin Aug 17th, 2007, 10:23 AM Schnyder, simply because she is by far and away the most talented on the list, but her results don't match up. Highlandman Aug 17th, 2007, 10:25 AM Razzano & Schnyder. Razzano's whole carrer a mix with amazing wins on the one hand and :tape: :help: - losses on the other side :sad: Dexter Aug 17th, 2007, 10:35 AM Hantuchova. NeeemZ Aug 17th, 2007, 10:39 AM I think Razzano. She's playing good now but she really had the chance to blossom in the early stages of her career. She's also quite inconsistant. She's beaten Peer and Mirza in straight sets in the past two weeks but only a month back she lost to Errani 62 60. Now that I write this, I change my mind to Schnyder. I think she had the potential to win a Grand Slam back in her peak. Bruno71 Aug 17th, 2007, 10:41 AM Petrova darice Aug 17th, 2007, 10:44 AM dani  Viktymise Aug 17th, 2007, 10:57 AM Vaidisova is only 18 and has already been in 2 slam SF's and 2 slam QF's. How is she wasted talent? :o mankind Aug 17th, 2007, 12:31 PM Golovin. But hopefully she'll stop wasting it now. :) Sammm Aug 17th, 2007, 12:40 PM Hantuchova and the eating disorder which apparently wasn't an eating disorder.... HAOCHEN-GOAT Aug 17th, 2007, 12:40 PM Shuai Peng :o Well she's still young :) I'm sure she has a lot of things to say... ;) Na (because of the years off, injurys...), Daniela and Patty, yep andrewC Aug 17th, 2007, 12:41 PM Li Na should have won more singles titles, only one Tier III does not reflect her ability, IMO. She could have won Estoril against Zheng that year, but a dodgy retirement and jetting off to the next tournament straight away :help: Razzano also, you can see she has talent when she upsets the top players, but she doesn't seem to be able to hold it together (as of yet... things could be changing now? ) Lunaris Aug 17th, 2007, 12:49 PM Schnyder and Hantuchova, it's pretty clear. Both have massive talent but head is not their strong weapon. DutchieGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 12:52 PM Oh all of the above - surely they should all have been #1 by now. DutchieGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 12:53 PM Why is this message board full of moaners? This is the poll I created, if you don't like it don't read and don't contribute. Go and make your own poll. How do we know if we like it or not before we read it? Shepster Aug 17th, 2007, 12:54 PM Hmm, my immediate reaction before seeing the names was Dani but on thinking about it I'd have to go with Patty for a couple of reasons. Firstly draws, Hantuchova has had horrendous draws over the years at Slam events and usually bows out to top players (and doesn't have the kind of record at any slam Patty has at Wimbledon). Secondly I don't think that any woman who has a career grand slam (for Dani in mixed doubles, only Court, Navratilova and King have done that) can ever have completely wasted her talent. DutchieGirl Aug 17th, 2007, 01:06 PM Oh come on - Patty tanks Wimby every year - most people know that. She hates grass and does whatever she can to get off the stuff as quickly as possible. ;) DA FOREHAND Aug 17th, 2007, 02:52 PM Hmm, my immediate reaction before seeing the names was Dani but on thinking about it I'd have to go with Patty for a couple of reasons. Vaidisova is playing great tennis, is far from wasting her talent... Safina could have done better, injuries are her problem, I think... Schnyder is up & down, she should have been top ten consistently... Kirilenko is just coming back, and I believe she won't have more problems Hantuchova should have been top 10 consistently with her game... Razanno does the opposite thing...is exceeding or is up to her talent I think, look at all of her great wins Mirza isn't consistent enough Schiavone with all of her effort she gives into her matches, I doubt she can be very consistent... Li has problems with injuries too much... Petrova should have been top 7 consistently... faboozadoo15 Aug 17th, 2007, 03:08 PM Patty probably. She should be much more acomplished. njnetswill Aug 17th, 2007, 03:11 PM Razzano. Never even reached top 30 (yet). jonny84 Aug 17th, 2007, 04:02 PM I would have thought Daniela would have won more titles than he has. Nicole I would have thought would have won at least a Tier 2 title by now. frenchie Aug 17th, 2007, 04:09 PM Schnyder then Hantuchova sammy01 Aug 17th, 2007, 04:10 PM people who voted dani realy cmon top 5 is way better than her game deserves i think she has over achieved! shes just a ball striker nothing else! schnyder now this woman has never been top 5 and she has every shot in the book and some that arent in the book she just dosen't have mental toughness! serenaforever Aug 17th, 2007, 04:12 PM Safina Lunaris Aug 17th, 2007, 04:24 PM people who voted dani realy cmon top 5 is way better than her game deserves i think she has over achieved! shes just a ball striker nothing else! schnyder now this woman has never been top 5 and she has every shot in the book and some that arent in the book she just dosen't have mental toughness! Most players are just ballstrikers nowadays. I fail to see how it proves Hantuchova has overachieved. BuTtErFrEnA Aug 17th, 2007, 04:40 PM Razzano then Patty then Dani Razzano is spectacular to me when she's on...her inconsistency kills her Patty has actually done something I guess in my eyes...her mentality kills her Dani just decided she didn't want to eat i guess  Expat Aug 17th, 2007, 04:59 PM patty she has made it a career of losing in the 4th round in slams cmonmasha Aug 17th, 2007, 05:05 PM I say petrova..She has an exellent game style: her serve, voleys, she is a powerful hitter. If it wasn't because of her lack of mental toughness, she could have perfectly won a GS. kikikid Aug 17th, 2007, 05:06 PM no reason sfselesfan Aug 17th, 2007, 06:21 PM Schnyder is the most talented of the women you chose. Dementieva should be on the list though. I think she could have achieved a couple of slams at least with some lessons from a good serve coach and a sport's psychologist. I still count her as the best active player to have never won a slam. Patty is second on that list. The Serbians are close behind now that they're getting fairly consistent. SF Sir Stefwhit Aug 17th, 2007, 06:50 PM I chose 10 random names.. Plz don't mention others here. Probably not the best way to get a list of 'good' choices for a poll. Vaidisova doesn't belong on a poll like this, her results are way above average for someone her age... Just a suggestion, but maybe next time you could think of a few choices that best fit the catagory of whatever poll you make. You did manage a few people who arguments can be made that they've wasted their talents, so it's not too bad... RND Aug 17th, 2007, 07:11 PM I voted Dani out of those 10.She literally wasted the period between 2003~2006. sfselesfan Aug 17th, 2007, 07:26 PM Why is this message board full of moaners?
