Toronto 3rd Round Predictions

Third round of Tier I Toronto today. Already we have seen some shock exits, namely that of Ivanovic, Chakvetadze and Dementieva. Who will keep their flag flying today?

Here is what I predict:

Justine Henin beats Shaui Peng 6-2 6-3
There should be no trouble here with Justine taking on the star from China.

Patty Schnyder beats Nadia Petrova 5-7 6-4 6-4
Think this one will be a battle between the two players, but Patty will hold on stronger than Nadia.

Eleni Daniilidou beats Zi Yan 6-4 7-5
It's going to be close, but Eleni has more experience on her side in main tour matches.

Marion Bartoli beats Dinara Safina 6-4 6-2
Dinara has not been playing great, nor has Marion, but I think Bartoli has the edge at the moment.

Francessca Schiavone beats Tatiana Golovin 6-7 7-5 6-4
Golovin will want revenge, but Francessca will fight to make it to the quarters

Svetlana Kuznetsova beats Meghann Shaughnessy 6-3 6-1
Easy win for Kuznetsova

Virginnie Razzano beats Shahar Peer 6-4 5-7 6-2
Another three set tussle, but Razzano will prevail

Jelena Jankovic beats Sybille Bammer 6-4 6-0
Easy win for Jankovic

I think Nadia Dinara and Shahar will win.
